Hi there, I just wanted to ask if anyone else has a serious resolution degrade when using the insta360 studio exported 360 format files in Davinci Resolve. I export in insta360 Studio as 5.7k with 120k bit rate, or just prores at 120k bit rate. (I have tried 200 but not much difference). My timeline on DR is set to either 1080 or 4k. I use the effects parameters as described (0.6 and 1). If I then export (deliver page) as an HD or 4k, h264 or h265 .mov or mp4 file with a bitrate of 120k and play the insta360 mp4 file alongside the DR output file, there is a substantial degradation in quality. Any ideas ? (My x3 is set to record ultra hd 5.7k)

I need help! I work in the public beta of Davinci resolve 19 and when I apply the effect from the Video turns black instead of displaying the linear view of the 360 video. Does that happen to anyone else?

I am glad it worked out for you. My experience with Insta360 R has been terrible. The only way to make a starlapse is via mobile app, the desktop app does not allow creating starlapse. To give folks an idea, about 9 hours of recording turns into a 2 minute clip. The 9 hours recording, if it happens successfully (camera tends to randomly shut down), amounts to about 35GB of data. When you go to compose it, it tries to do a preview, which never worked for me. I have left the app on and connected to power for almost 6 hours and it did not move even 2%. Your other option is to download the whole thing to your mobile device (which BTW can only store in internal memory so better make sure you have plenty space). The download is quite flaky and that is putting it mildly. I have spent days trying to download a 32 GB starlapse sequence and finally given up and deleted the whole thing. Now the latter models might have a little better response but are you willing to gamble $500 for that? The Insta is not dependable, it stopped connecting to my phone randomly during a trip. My 6 year old GoPro hero5 black works better than the Insta360. I am going to try and sell this garbage at throw away price and wait for GoPro Max 2 to come out.

Great Video and tutorial love your videos, but I personally found that kvrRframe360 was not in EFFECTS panel until I saved the project and restarted Davinci....then it appeared and worked fine, just for anyone that had this problem.....keep up the great videos my friend👍👍
