This track gets me emotional, not knowing what Nasu has prepared for Akiha's route in the remake. Will one of her route's endings be happy this time around (if there is more than one), or not? I can't describe the emotions I felt playing through Akiha's route for the first time in the original Tsukihime. It is and always will be my favourite route. Perhaps the most emotional and heart-wrenching Type-Moon story. Here's to a happy ending in the remake... 🍁

It had been well over a year (maybe even 2 years) since I last read the Arcueid route in the form of the manga but I recently read the remake version of the route using the official release and I completely forgot just how good this route was. Even if it isn’t exactly my favourite route across both the original and Blue Glass Moon, it’s definitely one of my favourites and it’s one hell of a strong introduction to Tsukihime.

This piece is, for me, more moon-y than Clair de Lune or Moonlight Sonata. There's a certain Sadness of Separation associated with the moon, as an evergreen thema permeating in Confucian cultural circle, that the west simply didn't have.
