It really shows that you have that deeper knowlegde than other coaches i have seen and even had. i really like this mid lane content and may look forward for a session :)
hello babitich, you mentioned active aggro time as 1.8 second here 8:30. but when you add up partial times you get 3 seconds instead of 2.5. are there 2 delay and one cooldown duration? i am confused
0.5 sec delay applicable if creeps are attacking other targets and in a state of "swinging" attack animation. Check example at 24:20 Aggro is 2.3sec, cd 0.7 > 3 sec 1 cycle. What I meant by Active aggro - is when creeps actually running towards you.
your information are on another level. i watch many dota youtuber, many of them good and all but you are the best. you dont miss a question mark. your one problem is your accent but it seems to get better as far as i see
As guardian 3, now I know why I am guardian 3. This shit is hard as fuck. Is hard to follow all the aggro mechanics during the game. Shootout to all players above me.
I know theyre kinda low and overexteding, Is that enough reason to help assuming youre having a good time at mid? Or only do this when you can guarantee easy pick offs with current line up? ___ My usual mindset is if im having easy mid, i just stay there and push tower, only helping for situations where i have good power rune or deem i can get something out of it. I hate missing runes and missing wave CS.
Who dislikes videos like this? Seek help if you are doing this.
someone/pos4 needs to depush mid in that time though? (and then maybe be busy if they bring more to bottom)
Hi! It is min 5:30 and it's Puck on the enemy side, he can't take down the tower that fast. So there is no need to defend the tower.
please make aggro laning phase and warding for supports!! thank you. you gained a new sub.
best video for aggro on youtube amazing job man
14:58 www.youtube.com/@babitich @babitich You couldn't reaggro the tower because none of the Pucks attacked the tower to start with. The tower attacked the one because she was within the 500 range AQ. Once you came inside the 500 range and sleight of fists with Ember Spirit, the tower took him as first priority target because you were attacking it. Since can only reagro under a tower if the other hero attacked as well the tower and since none of the Pucks attacked it, you couldn't. ;)
Bodyblock
ooh! I Learned something new today!
the dota scientist
1- bodyblock the creeps 2- pull the next wave to the river , so you can lane in the river and fck him 3- use that counter agro, stay close to your creeps and when he agro, you agro his creeps to try to counter it and the both creeps atack each other.. i think while doing this you can still hit ember like 2 or 3 times
1. Block wave so he cant drag 2. If he drags get his wave to your wave in river and lane there 3. Stay in river hold every wave on hill and save creeps outside tower so he can never pull
To prevent ember from dragging the creep wave Option 1: if the ember approaches to drag the wave from front of the tower as in the video, move behind your tower and block your creeps. Option 2: Maintain Equilibrium in the first place by not auto attacking your enemy creep wave Option 3: if he has already dragged from behind your tower, then drag enemy creep wave and crash into his wave.
Nice! Add me in Discord for free session.
very helpful tip!! thank you
I'm a little confused with how you can ensure you do not trigger aggro in the wave. Let's say I'm primal beast and I want to right click enemy Pango who sits in the wave. How can I get some right clicks off without triggering aggro and taking harass. (I'm already in the wave at the time)
step out of a creep wave and attack pango outside of AQ range
@@babitich This will then give me 3 seconds to walk to him and get attacks in right?
@@Fixation12424 yes
14:58 Is it because de-aggro shares a cooldown with aggro? So you could not get the tower off of you until the first aggro cooldown finished.
Absolutely right. Message me on Metafy or in Discord (babitich) to claim your free session.
Is this correct? Do I get the coaching session? 😄
@@EclipsingBinary yes, add me in Discord or send a message on the Metafy
2:50 three guesses: body block, pull enemy wave into whichever side ember goes, or follow ember to force him to drag under tower then glyph and kill him
Satyr's purge doesn't require an enemy hero nearby. It will cast that if you've had a buff applied to you in the last 5 seconds.
Best video of creep aggro on youtube !
2:45 1- body block creeps 2- drag next wave to river and meet ember 3- pull the melee creep behind your turret so that your next wave stops at the turret and gives time for the next wave to crash( the melee and range creep huskar was hitting; instead of hitting g the creeps near ember, pull the mlee aggro behind your turret to meet your next wave)
I will give it a shot: 1. body block your creeps 2. move the equilibrium forward near river 3. since you are winning the lane, focus on enemy melee creeps only, and do not hit the enemy range creep (hit it last) so that your creeps naturally move near it and attack, thus messing with ember's pull
2:45 1.Block wave 2.Drag dire wave to meet at river 3. No way can ember be allowed to do this to a huskar in real game. Just don't auto attack the creeps so it wont push to their tower, control the lane, only last hit, deny and orb walk, make sure the lane is always near your side of the map.
You are the closest one so far, specify point 3, what do you mean by control lane? What if creeps are ALREADY under your tower for any reason? What should you do? (there are even answer in the examples part on what to do in case creeps are under your tower)
2:45 1. Block your creep wave so the creep meets on your high ground 2. Pull the enemy wave to ember and meet on the river 3. Call for a gank from the pos 4
@@musicianoffailure-3804 1 and 2 are correct, 3rd option aren't the best one, let's not use supports. Hint: what can you do BEFORE Ember will even decide to pull creeps? What are the premises for Ember to even think to pull creeps like this? - ask yourself these questions and you will have option number 3 :)
@@babitich harass the ember beforehand so he's not full hp when he's trying to pull creeps? Or maybe keep pushing the lane under his tower
Hey! Love the video :) There has never really been a video out there that thoroughly explains creep aggro (with examples) as well as this one! At 2:50 here are the ideas that come to mind: 1. You can 'move backward' and bodyblock your creeps, either stalling until enemy creep wave comes or making ember choose to only pull a few creeps 2. You can 'move forward' and pull the enemy creeps to try and make them meet ember's pull (probably somewhere in the river) 3. You can stay in place and hold the enemy creepwave on your hill and basically wait for the next wave so you can deny as many creeps as possible. Im not sure this is correct though because ember can pull creeps behind his t1+t2 and it does not deny your current wave, only the next wave. I'm curious if there's simple aggro trick or concept I am missing.
thank you! 1 and 2 are correct, 3rd option aren't the best one. Hint: what can you do BEFORE Ember will even decide to pull creeps? What are the premises for Ember to even think to pull creeps like this? - ask yourself these questions and you will have option number 3 :)
@@babitich hmmm, I guess you can position yourself so ember would have to walk thru you to get to the creep wave. Even if he is full hp he will have to tank a lot of right clicks from you, or potentially you can even body block the ember 🤔
@@anthokeyTV maybe, but not really. You still need to answer my "hint questions" to get the right answer. btw the answer is in the video, in the examples part.
@@babitich maybe i need to buy coaching because I dont fully understand... do you mean the earlier creepwave? "What can you do BEFORE ember will decide to pull creeps?" You can manipulate creepwave: shove the previous wave, making him lose creeps under tower while he is going around to pull. You can hold the creepwave on your hill and keep denying so you will have dire creeps to leash aggro of next wave. "What are the premises for Ember to even think to pull creeps like this?" He needs hp, movespeed, and enough room to grab radiant creeps so they are outside of AQ range of dire creeps.
@@anthokeyTV The reason Ember allows pulling is because you killed his creeps under YOUR tower. Instead, you should have: 1) Hold the creeps on HG 2) If the creeps are already under your tower - pull them to HG and NOT kill them to hold them on HG, therefore Ember wouldn't even have a basis to pull them - Examples 3, 4. So, the right answers are: 1) Bodyblock creeps 2) Merge creeps (worst scenario) 3) Don't let creeps die under your tower in the first place. I like your persistens, want to add me in Discord for a session?
2:45 1) keep creeps on HG, don't let them go under the tower so that ember will have no point to even try to pull creeps. Aggro creeps to your HG if they are already under the tower - examples 3 and 4. 2) block creeps as in example 10 3) pull enemy creepwave towards Ember and your creepwave

It's not a legal cheat. The real legal cheat is Valve not putting up enough servers in Africa, especially ranked. As such, I'm forced to play on European servers with a constant 180-250+ms ping rate. While the people I play with have a 9ms ping rate. Now, go and make a video of what a huge difference that is.
I play EU servers with 140 ping too. Are you a mid-player?
@@babitich Yes I am. 140ms is bad for ranked.
@@harsimran1I can understand your frustration. Here is how I have adapted to 140 ping (playing EU servers from NA, competing with tier 1 players in ranked): 1) You need to understand that even though ping can put you in a favorable or unfavorable position, the main thing in the game is your "Mind." I don't know your rating, but I'm sure you can outplay your opponents in many different ways besides laning. For example, you can make good rotations, have efficient farm patterns, dodge ganks, lead your team, etc. Take player Mikey (www.reddit.com/r/DotA2/comments/zjv1fl/17_yo_mikey_is_now_rank_1_eu_while_playing_with/) as an example; at some point, he reached TOP 1 EU ladder playing from Iran with 140 ping and 10% packet loss. I could literally hear that part of his speech was interrupted due to packet loss. But here's the thing: he picked heroes that are less affected by ping, such as Batrider, Kotl, and Huskar. He didn't play mid to win the lane but rather to just get his 50% from the lane and then make an impact through his game understanding and team leadership. 2) Always warm up in a lobby by last-hitting creeps for 10 minutes to get used to the ping. 3) Pick simple and less ping-affected heroes for mid, such as Kotl, Batrider, Broodmother, and Nyx. However, it's up to you; if you don't want to play those heroes, you don't have to. 4) NEVER test things in demo mode; always host a lobby with ping to never forget how to play with ping. You constantly need to be exposed to the ping. 5) Understand that with high ping, you CAN'T make "clutch" moves, such as dodging stuns with your manta/BKB or dodging spells with Puck's Phase Shift. So don't bother trying to dodge anything. Adjust your gameplay with the understanding that there is no way you'll dodge spells. Unfortunately, I've died more than once trying to dodge something but was unable to press my BKB in time due to ping... Hope that helps.
This was there since the beginning of heroes of newerth game

My friend told me about this few weeks ago. Been using it to see my exp range and blink dagger range ever since. In case of blink dagger, it hasn't helped me much actually, but with the exp range it is truly a game changer. I usually run with exp range during laning phase and switch to blink range once I buy it and since they are both similar in length, it also sort of serves as exp range, though it is much less useful after laning phase. Being able to see my exp range while I pull camps, ward nearby or harass enemies has been such a blessing.

nice vid. id love more in depth guides on heroes and how to lane. for example QOP. ive seen people get like 3 points in her Q and 2 points in W and none in E and dominate the lane. and also the opposite where they got 0 in Q and 3 points in E im always confused which option to go and also when i try to level both of them it doesnt seem that effective sometimes coz it cost alot of mana
