I thought the Commandos & the Gorgonites were awesome. After what I learned about the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles figures & the whole tie in to the 1987 TV series thing, I feel like the Commando Elite & Gorgonites were kind of being marketed the same way or at least a similar 1. In that press conference scene, I'm willing to bet that there would be comic books, video games, an animated kids TV show and/or a feature film about the Commando Elite warring against the Gorgonites, but in this series or movie, the Commandos are the good guys while the Gorgonites are the bad guys. For that, would you just take Archer who's nothing like his action figure who's peaceful & make him into the cliched kids cartoon/movie villain & the other Gorgonites would be like his tough, take no shit from anyone type enforcers? Again, nothing like the Gorgonite action figures of this movie. If you wanna better understand what I mentioned about TMNT, The Toys That Made Us series on Netflix has a TMNT toy episode, which can explain more than what I did.
