not only is it called the last of us remastered 2014, it was released fraudulently in the process so the last of us was first released in 2013, it was just released on ps4 itself or re-released in 2014 so they did a terrible job than they wouldn't have improved it in a game but worse it Technically, it's not a better version of the game. but too bad, actually the frame rate and visuals are still worse it still doesn't improve it in one of the worse games in the process maybe so . From my experience. The last of us port it not improved performance not decreased like I said the original ps3 would go below 24 fps . The ps4 port very bad, it doesn't improve like this in ps3 to ps4 would be locked 60 on ps4 and the last of us part 1 on ps5 would as unlocked 60 fps and 30 fps mode this means a ps5 pro or ps6 will boost the game to 4k 60 or 1440p 120 fps . I considered The Last of us part 1 big difference from original port not sight change like ps4 is better ps3 version. The graphical upgrade is big and they also surpassed Last of us 2 in graphics . Call of Duty MW1&2 Remastered and nier replicant also basically took old game and put it in new engine and improved go watch some of documentary from blue point how they did it. If you considered Call of Duty MW1&2 and nier replicant a unfaithful remastered then part 1 is also remastered so it's not considered Demon's Souls as a faithful remake, but demon's Souls from building something else. I have also played the original ps3 version. Graphically there was not much difference other than its 1080p. Biggest difference was it was 60 fps locked on ps3 game would go low as 24 fps . the 2014 port is a next gen, part 1 remastered. Can't believe people stil can't differentiate between next gen and remaster. So Remastered and Remake are not just much different. Remake is to create another one, create new graphics or new Motion Capture data while Remastered is for enhanced, HD image quality textures, new whole engine change or new engine which makes, upgrades and lighting or motion capture acting, (Because not only is it called The Last Of Us Remastered, when Sony and Naughty Dog fraudulent released it on PS4 in 2014, but this is just a re-release of next gen port of the original PS3 in 2013.) 2014 was just a re-release of next gen not remaster, it not improved the graphics It's extremely bad, due to fraudulent distribution, but was not rebuilt from the ground up, TLOU part 1 WAS completely rebuilt on an entirely not only different engine with new assets, lighting, look like Call of Duty MW1&2 Remastered and nier replicant From a new engine which makes ai, pretty much everything. Which by definition means it was REMASTERED. Just because it uses the same level layout and story beats does not mean it’s not a remake. But, now they remastered the game in ps5
