Sunday saw our Antipodean mate cut a sorry figure.
His best result yet, his victory over Manchester City, has been taken from its special gilded frame and tossed onto a veritable pile of beatings, that probably began to take shape as far back as September.
This weekend, Pep Guardiola. who has six English titles to his name, left Anfield with ‘You’re getting sacked in the morning!’ ringing in his ears.
We here care about our very own woes, and after this weekend's shuffling deckchairs on the Titanic episode, we see the Aussie yet again humbled by not just his wits which I maintain are limited, if not dishonourable, but like that deathtrap of a suit he’s been poured into, an ill-fitting squad that doesn’t do what it even vaguely ought to.
The lack of quality in his squad is now actually at risk of being eclipsed by the lack of available bodies. And it’s all down to Baldy.
Say what you want about Ange, and there’s plenty worth saying through gritted teeth, but it isn’t his fault that he was fourth or worse on the club’s recruitment hit list.
Everything traces back to the short fella above him.
We are set up for a thoroughly uninspiring month. We all knew it was coming, like Christmas Day itself, everyone knows it gets choppy and the fewer injuries and more considered the form, the better one’s chances are of surviving or perhaps even excelling under the natural duress of it all.
If Spurs are doing well by the time Ange sits down to open presents from his family, it will be nothing short of miraculous.
When the DNA of a football club is mentioned, it is always worth stopping the fakir peddling this tosh in their tracks and familiarising them with the truth. That a place of business has no DNA, but the face, its culture, and all those things that aid us in recognising it; come from the boardroom. Not the loading bay, or those valiant ones that draw up the marketing campaign or dress the window so skilfully.
I have a dislike of Mange Postecoglou, but that’s not ‘it’.
Baldy was spoiling things long before he arrived with his campfire tales and suppressed cough, which has now morphed into a face-rubbing tick.

What are your thoughts on the game? Tough game. Tight game. Not a lot of openings for either side. Just a few opportunities to score. We started the game well and probably should have been 1-0 up. Veteran defender Mats Hummels snatched a late equaliser for Claudio Ranieri's Roma to frustrate Tottenham in the Europa League. Spurs had been the superior side for much of...

Inconsistent Spursy team on the rebuild, again. There are so many comments to make about the decisions on and off the pitch that its become a vacuum of which all positives seem to slide into. The Ange assigned attacking football philosphy that is not complete if it only relies on wingbacks becoming the top scorer as Johnson is> is not attacking football, its two sided at best. I am bizarrely still Ange in because i can not bear another Levy change... there is a serious culture problem at the club.. it is full of oppostion cuddling in the tunnel wet flannels that have ab out as much passion for the Cockerel as they do about keeping their underarms waxed. Its a team full of stat builders and not one of them is a leader on the field. They are and always have been paycheck focused.. a soft touch.. but the irony is Levy is as tight as deep sea road tunnel ..... its hopeless at the Lane and its not changing until Sunbed Lewis and the ENIC team f#uck off and take Levy with them?
Sherwood actually has a better win percentage compared to Ange. AvB, too, and majority of the fanbase hated him for some reason as well. DerAnge Ball is a joke and so is the majority of this fanbase today who pride themselves on top 4, xg ratings, and billion pound stadium with no statues of the greats.
Entertaining as always from Muttley, Computer Says No and Lookalike Levy... I enjoy the factionalism and 'hurty words' as much as the Spursy soccer, these days.
Thats no way to talk about yourself Boy
My fear is that Mikey Moore might be our next Sick Note.
Try giving him some credit at least for for the man city result you skimmed over it didnt even talk about the good things and the lift it gave the supporters you guys appear to delight with bad results and the doom.and gloom. Your The Bah humbug brigade
How long before stories start to emerge about Kulu needing to leave to progress his career, like Romero has already started... if they go, this current squad is so soft, the whole house of carrds would collapse and we'd soon find ourselves heading towards the bottom of the table with no one able to pull us out.
Wonderful stuff....as the football tanks the vids get better.
Thank god for this Channel 🙏👍🏽 Some common sense and straightforward talking No girlfriend in sight 🤦🏻♂️😂
Cheers buddy x
I'll tell you something for what it's worth, I don't think that Ange is as friendly a bloke as you might think. He has made it quite clear that it is his way or the highway and he dislikes people who disagree with him. The pressers are certainly like that, and I don't reckon he would change at any other time unless he is bowing and scraping to Daniel Levy. That being said I feel his assistant coaches want to keep their job, and will ride out Ange's unpleasantness until he shoots himself in the foot one time too many. I am English by birth and have been in Australia since 1972, supporting Spurs as a 10 year old since 1960. The word mate used by Australians is disingenuous, and you treat it when spoken by Australians as friendly at your peril. English people use the word mate as they would when talking to their best friend, Australians for the most part use it to gain an advantage. Don't be fooled.
From the way we have played this season I think Ange and Levy have a pact between them to ensure that Spurs are not successful, because success would bring demands for investment, in players and higher wages. We have seen results that have been great and we have seen results that are terrible. Why the difference. All I can see is Levy wanting to strangle the advancement of the club, because his hip pocket gets emptied a little, and the short-term bottom line has always got to be on the up. Ange's role is to sell an idea, which he has done. He's also got a lot of fans believing he can deliver, and he has shown he can. However as soon as there is a glimmer of consistency to be had and expectations to rise, what happens. He play's his rubbish high line, or he overtrains the players, or he plays players out of position, or he deliberately stands with his hands in his pockets and doesn't change anything, or he gets the medical team involved to obfuscate and bugger the team up for a while. But here is the kicker, he will change things for the better just as it's getting a bit hot in the kitchen, and also comes out with stupid nonsensical statements in the media to make it look like wonderful Ange deserves more time, because he doesn't complain and says mate a lot, and gets the press to laugh a bit. As I've said before Ange is Levy's dream manager. He is a super salesman and wanted to be the first Aussie to manage in the P/L., and this is his retirement gig. Win, win for Ange and Levy. Levy because all his costs are a lot lower, and his net transfer spend is next to nothing. Ange because he is this great philosopher who is re-inventing the wheel, gets close to 400 million to spend on lets face it average players and despite the over-inflated prices somehow Levy pays up, something he has never done before, so he can say Ange gets whatever he wants. Classic Smoke and Mirrors stuff, so don't expect the rollercoaster to stop any time soon, because Ange will keep inconsistency consistently rolling along. Choo, Choo. Clickety Clack. It will be interesting to see what happens when Ange's contract expires, ?? COYS. dreamin...

@@ljubicacaren6438 welcome!
The players are not playing for Ange. It’s clear. Inconsistency shows the environment is inconsistent and that is on Ange. There is just not enough coaching of the team and tactics
Are you serious. You have no idea what was wrong with Solanke. Am I given to understand that you believe Ange is deliberately not trying to win matches. I guarantee if we put out a team including inexperienced young players and got smashed you would be criticising that.
As per honest and witty appraisal i for one am starting to realise our relegation season was more fun than it appeared 🥴
Ange Postecoughlou
Turgid football, turgid atmosphere, stadium full of day trippers and tourists, a manager that spent the whole 90 mins with hands in his pockets looking at the ground. The shambolic state of this football club under the "leadership" of the parasite Levy!
Glad to see you boys back!
And if this Donna team win at Bournemouth, which i believe they don"t ,a next losing game is on the horizon against Chelsea.
My honest opinion on that is 3-2 to Bournemouth.
Ange bring on Will Lankshear in minute 95,WHAT AN DISASTER COACH !!
And they decided to keep Timo Werner now,i guess after his run on the left against Man City when Brendan Johnson scores the 4th goal.
What really pisses me off is coming out the ground and bumping into hundreds of clowns wearing half and half scarves. FFS!
Saw many clowns like that and even a bigger clown with a Liverpool har in the north stand lower
Enjoyed the chat lads... totally true in all that was said....some of our younger wokey fans seem to be enjoying this dross....not one quality player bar VDV and Kulu when in the mood ...Son will always be a legend but unfortunately he is not getting any younger.
I like what you’re saying lol great show gents 👏👏
@@richsman9747 cheers fella
Good day to all. Thanks again for the upload gentleman! I hope everyone is well and seasons greetings. 😌🍺 I miss the Poch days. I am fed up with the 'buying for the future' mantra from the club aswell. I've spent two decades watching us build players, most of which don't come good. It's a failed model. We don't even cash in on most of them. Name one player since Bale and Kane, that has provided us a windfall transfer, cos they were mustard? So, if these youngsters play, then end up like Dier, where does that model work??? We don't win anything, and don't command a big fee, mostly begging clubs to take these players eventually.
Just love this show, a bit of sanity amongst the madness of most spurs shows don't know what game they watch half the time, Levy has ripped the heart and soul out of this club a club I've supported for some 50 years, all you hear from the happy people is "its a rebuild give it time", well when Levy rolled up i had jet black hair now its grey and I'm still waiting. You cant build a team on dodgy foundations and Levy is certainly dodgy.
Absolutely spot on, love these chats and find them funny too, ps, how do you get such value and therefore wear out of your Gabicci clothing 😂
Hahahahah busted!
We need to hear more of your Ange Aussie accent please H!😂 Great podcast once again! It's s good to hear the grownups talking football and facts rather than the other incels in the spurs TH-cam space.
"jews who dont like jews" ? there is no such thing. There are jews who do not like zionists, because zionists are not real jews, let's stick to facts or you lose credibility in all other areas. if you are honest about one thing, you need to be honest on every topic or you become like a politician flip flopping to what suits you at the time
Well if forester gets injured we have grey as back up so I’m not worried
Hahahahaha!
the manager isnt taking part in training? i never heard this before, that is ridiculous. how is he building a rapport or getting his ideas across? can you imagine Brian Clough never going to the training ground. This is a very weird way of coaching, it makes no sense. It all points to the players being left to their own devices, never being pushed on or off the pitch
Oh yes Joe and Harry R (always sad to see him go)
Mikey compared (by whom) to Neymar - late-ish October - has that comparison caused a meltdown I wonder - imagine the expectations
What an overrated guy he is
running out of players - wake up to youselves
it is not tiredness, it is not tactics, the issue is this is not a team, it is a collection of prima donnas who can be awesome when they all feel like it and click, but otherwise there is no driving force or forces on the pitch to push them to play. Sonny is not captain material, asians are too polite, we need someone to get loud and kick arses. to use excuses that grown men, supposed sportsmen, cannot play twice a week is pure nonsense
do you guys think that ange wants to be fired as he knows he cant handle this
It has crossed my mind
Actually predicted my first correct Spurs result (a draw against Fulham) for months.....have I turned the corner?🙄
Yes!
Can you train the team to defend them????
When Martin Jol, Harry Redknapp, and Pochettino managed Spurs, they maximized the potential of their squads, playing a balanced offensive and defensive game. They had little support from Spurs chairman Levy and yet they produce better results than Ange.
It's going to be a tough period now I can see spurs losing to Bournemouth Chelsea and Man Utd in the cup. There isn't much hope. I would be very surprised if Ange gets to Febuary. Being so inconsistent isn't very good for players confidence
Madison,Johnson,Solanke,Werner, all fair weather players,I believe the technical term is lightweight.........
Australians and their stealing ?! U muppet they were English when they were stealing and u tools sent them to paradise . How’s brexit going for u as u watch your empire falling
Hahahahaha
Newcastle fan here and while observing the rest of the league I noticed Ange being rather prickly with the press which I got curious about. Shortly after came the freak Man City game / Arsenal title situation. As a football fan, I took exception to Ange’s comments and behaviour around that and couldn’t believe someone could be so disrespectful to the club he works for. His comments also didn’t stand up to scrutiny and felt completely shallow & self-serving. Since then I’ve kept track of the mans behaviour as I’m genuinely curious at this manager who is constantly passive aggressive for no reason whatsoever and sometimes acts like a disrespectful prick to the reporter and I’m waiting for people to call him out. I honestly wouldn’t want him anywhere near NUFC - his ego seems to prevent him from showing basic manners or any pride that he’s managing Spurs, although I suspect this prickly ‘ego’ behaviour must be masking some kind of insecurity. I’m happy to see some Spurs fans calling him out on this.
I agree, I have said for a long time he is a con man who knows he is out of his depth and is blagging it until he gets the sack.
"Even though he fathered Jamie Rednap, i would say yes." 🤣🤣🤣🤣
if levy wanted he could build a decent side from the europa pool players at 25yo -29yo than buy risks and youth !
Not a bad shout!
Would still start Werner ahead of Son on the left. At least he brings pace and energy unlike dear Sonny boy, who should never ever have been made Captain and i wonder if that was a pure business decision to so as to further boost the attendance of all the Korean fans and their wallets.
Certainly more entertaining than the football 🐓
we need to sell bissouma it aint worked.
How can anyone expect consistent results from a team with too many average players along with young inexperienced players? The majority of the players that Levy purchases have very low end product. You'll need about 90 goals now days to win the Premier League so why are we surprised when we never even get near this target? Just one example, Kulusevski got signed on the back of just two goals for a whole season in the Premier League. He's now got 2 goals in 13 Premier League games and this is the standard at Tottenham because he's being made to be on of the best players in europe with hardly no end product to show for it. There's doesn't seem to be any pressure on these players to achieve anything at this club. One can see that the standard clue is at such a low when Ben Davis who Levy signed in 1865 is getting man of the match performances. It's very simply, the owners have been trying very hard to make sure that we don't win anything every season for the last 25 years. They refuse to buy top quality readymade players with high end product. They rely on players with potential and are happy to collect the Premier League money while they build their empire to increase the value of the club for future sale. Have you ever got the feeling that these pathetic players are in on the scam? Like have you ever seen a team get so many injuries in a season? Players turning up at Spurs not looking well so they're wrapped up in cotton wool and sent home. And Kulu rested for a Premier Leauge game when 3 pts are at stake? Would this happen at Real Madrid, Liverpool, Barcelona or Man City for that matter? Players supposed to be injured yet they attend the world darts tournament drinking beer and having a great time? Taking creative players off to replace them with defensive players when we need a goal to try and get 3 pts for a victory? Have you ever got the feeling that Ange is deliberately throwing games and handing 3 pts to the opposing teams like on several occasions? He doesn't seem to mind average young signings lacking experience and maturity plus he's not bothered with a very thin squad when 4 trophies are up for grabs? As far as I'm concerned the club and this puppet manager are scamming the fan base and are doing everything in their power to fail whilst charging the highest ticket prices. I guess it's far cheaper to keep the squad wage bill as low as possible than it is to try to win the league with proper readymade top quality signings on high wages. So there's never a rebuild or any ambition to reach a trophy target at this club, and the no. 1 problem is this alien like fan base who're not even real Tottenham fans in my opinion. This new breed is very well off and have no problems with just being fed and entertained. They never protest against Levy who is constantly taking a dump on the fan base. And especially the elderly part of the supporters which none of the younger fan base stood up for them to protect them? It's like a debauchery fest at Spurs where the fan base welcome Daniel to take a golden shower on them whilst they also welcomes him to smear his ow sht all over their faces at the same time. Daniel then laughs fiendishly into the void of their empty souls as he counts the money that he's made from these soulless, immoral empty vessels. I'm sorry, but when you have a fan base with such a low standard for themselves, then you get exactly what you deserve at Tottenham Hot Pot.
Ange's subs after Fulham went down to 10 men was the worst that I have ever seen, if I didn't know I would think i was watching a parks coach.
