Hello! I hope you could reply. I'm a fellow PT here in the Philippines wanting to migrate and practice in AUS. I just like to ask whether you had a PT working experience before getting the interim certificate and taking up your graduate certificate of clinical rehabilitation? Is it required to have at least 2 years of experience or not? Thank you so much. I'll be hoping for your reply.
Hi! I had more than 2 years of clinical experience before I migrated in Aus. It is not required for studying. However, having work experience will help you obtain a working visa if you have an eligible sponsor. From what I can remember, it is also vital for the eligibility assessment to get your Interim Certificate. Hope this helps! :)
@@mariacamille1646 Thank you so much for replying! Last question, sorry to bother you... but can I study masteral in AU then work as a PT (given that I can apply or maybe I already have an interim certificate) without having years of experience as a PT in the Philippines? Thank you!

Hi graduate din ako ng PT here in PH pero hindi pa ako licensed. Tumatanggap ba sila ng students kahit hindi licensed kapag graduate diploma? Thank you! 😊
Hi! I'm not that sure coz different universities have their own requirements. For studying, as far as I know hindi naman required yung license. Pero if you want to work as a physio, it is required. Hope that helps! :)
Nice video! Licensed PT here from Philippines and just moved to Sydney under a partner visa. I've checked with APC with the standard pathway as well. Just wondering if you have undergone the same pathway and also if your credentials in Phillippines allowed you to take the written and practical exam. Thanks!
Hi! Yes. Same pathway :) Once you have the Interim Certificate after you complete the Initial Assessment, you’ll be eligible to work as a physio (limited registration).
