I have two cats. Manny2 and his litter mate sister, Money. Manny stares at me a lot, his sister joins in but tips her head slightly to the left like a scientist studying something. I say what! Manny2 comes up to get his cheek rub, or he’ll bring me his foil ball for a game of fetch. His sister will settle in my lap. It is unnerving. But since I love my two no problem. My past cats and they were three at various times, never stared. They either slept or cuddled in my lap.

I draw the line at catching and giving my two cats mice as treats to show my love.

Get an older or younger cat, they’ll brighten your life forever. Leave the water and food out. Change the litter box when needed or less or it’s an outside cat. They stick by you. Easy stuff.

Keep in mind there's definitely downsides to having a cat. A certain air toxin is associated with them, and if you're bit, they can contain some nasty stuff.

Always speak to your cat before approaching them. Cats are both predators and prey and failing to give them a warning can make them anxious and aggressive. Additionally, never follow your cat at a speed faster than theirs for the same reasons mentioned above. While they enjoy playing chase to practice survival skills, it should never feel like a real threat.

Both of my cats have to be in the bathroom with me while I'm using it. My boy cat Vinnie loves to be on my lap but not only that he will give me a love bite on my butt cheek, first time he ever did that it shocked me I jumped good lol!!!

I'm sorry but we still aren't sure they know what "sorry" is. After they mess up, they see you're upset and come to alleviate it (which benefits them too), whether they see causality between what they did and human's change of mood is not proven.

Sorry. A cat pissing or pooping on my bed is a "stressor" in MY environment. I don't afterwards need to understand the cat.

My cat is 12 this year. She will jump up and lay on my chest purring, as always. But if I start talking she will slap me in the mouth (no claws). Then she'll start with the tail swishing and low growl as if to say.. "talk again." I generally move her from my lap at that point. She'll come back in a few minutes and start purring again. I'll tell her to be nice. Then there goes the tail and the growl... bap! Most of the time when this happens, I'm having an allergy attack and my voice has changed. It's very disconcerting tho. 😢😢😢

If you don’t love, LOVE cats, don’t get one. This gorgeous animals deserve all the REAL love they wants.
