I had a red mazda mx3 10 years ago but it was called eunos 30x here in Australia.I swapped the 1.8 V6 for a jap spec 2.5 KLDE the thing was a weapon and never let me down in the 12 years i owned it.

We hebben helaas de mx3 te koop gezet. Gewoon niet de tools en te veel problemen om hem in orde te krijgen. Staat op marktplaats te koop in zuid limburg. Als je geintereseerd bent in onderdelen of het hele ding. Angel headlights zijn helaas al verkocht.

@@dannertmedia helaas wel. We hebben gewoon de kennis ook niet. Zit een oud startonderbreken systeem op waar we niet omheen kunnen. Kunnen de motor wel gewoon draaien met de starter. Maar dat is het ook. Na 4 jaar klooien hebben we er genoeg van.

Are you using ta-technix coilovers? Whats your opinion of them in terms sporty driving and daily comfort? I’m not looking to lower my mx-3, just a better suspension set for sport driving
Well i mainly bought tatechnix because my old shocks were old and i wanted to lower the mx-3. i haven't compared it to other coilovers. but its pretty decent. especially for the price (thats the main reason i bought them)

Is it difficult to find the parts? I'm thinking of restoring my uncle's MX3 but it needs lots of work
@@orekusic3584 depends on the country you life in. Here in the Netherlands there are a lot of junkyards with some mx3s/ big mx3 community/mazda dealers so there are a few ways to find parts. But it can ben diffrent in other countries

@@dannertmedia I'm from Serbia, doesn't seem to be lots of parts here cus Mazda isn't that popular here but I was thinking of importing from other countries or using parts from cars that use similar components (I've heard Mazda 323 shares the suspension and possibly other stuff) where I can. After taking the car for a spin the biggest work seems to be: thorough cleaning, a good paintjob, and making up for the lack of maintenance. It's rough around the edges but it drives like a beast. Glad to hear there's people that still appreciate the MX3, and that you have no issues caring for yours ☺️

i went for the 1.6 DOHC, hard to find a well kept 1.8 these days, and reliability and fuel economy go to the 4 cyl
For a fun small car go with the mx3 :)). (In my opinion worth it)

Oh damn, i am having the same issues with the body proportions as you have. I have these huge gaps between headlights and front bumper, that arent meant to be, but i still have to find out what it is. I have a feeling its the "shock absorber" behind the bumper, that is bent, but i will find out sometime next weekend. :(
