I was on NSLIY Taiwan for 23-24, seeing all the sights is crazy (you guys even rode the same tour bus)

Congrats to you, and thank you for sharing your experience! I have been on interview panels for YES, FLEX, and NSLI-Y applicants (to be clear, I did not interview you!), and you are so right about staying relaxed and not building it up in your head. It's so much better to go into it like you're meeting some family friends for the first time, or participating in improv comedy, rather than a Big Formal Interview. We are rooting for you the whole time, looking for reasons to recommend you for the next round! It's not as important to have the "right" answers as it is to show your interviewers who you are, and that you will be able to roll with the punches in a completely new and unfamiliar setting.
