Can anyone help me? I have a cbr650r aswell but I can’t redline it. It sounds and feels like the engine will explode if I get high up, like 8k. Also my first gear can only go 42 mph while other cbr650r can go 65. Is something wrong with my bike?

hmmmm what was wrong with that bike brother? My cbr650r made a bit over 60 stock with manufacture restrictions. If a cbr650r only made 30 some horses at the wheel something is seriously wrong because even restricted this bike has 70 some horses at crank which means it’s losing practically 50% power through drive train, the “tuned” numbers are pretty accurate tho, but stock doesn’t seem right, a in line four engine that big making 30hp just doesn’t seem correct

I have a 2023 CBR650R but from what I heard you should never do tuning because it ruins the engine then the company won't take the responsibility. What do you think about that?

Full Woolich system? Have a stock 2019 mt-09. Also is this a custom tune you made? Or is this just after install.

If I derestrict this bike but keep the longer restricted snorkels (with the blocking plate dremeled out), how does this affect power? I assume the peak power would be reduced but the mid-range torque would be better?

Top speed is around 149mph or 240km/h. Now we know the rev limiter will allow 277km/h indicated speed. If you can do that going downhill with wind etc it will probably be less than 260km/h true speed.

Can u still autoblip without releasing the throttle or revving it still the same power?

Hey mate So I’ve got an Mt09 2016 S1 I’ve purchased a 6pin wiring harness and also the QS to match.. bit of confusion in regards to international market release dates so Woolich being the helpful bunch they are sent me both sized rods just in case. Long story,but after re-pinning the ecu plug and fitting the QS the mechanic realized until to late that the tune was downloaded onto the wrong laptop, and by then Woolich had closed and so we can’t finish it until next week. My concern is when I rode it home, I couldn’t get into 5th easily and 6th not at all. Did you have to fiddle with adjustments to the gear linkage much.? Reassurance would be much appreciated as it’s not a bike that come out with a QS. I’m in Wellington so a local voice is absolutely fantastic Thanks
