Excellent presentation and explanation of what happens to these priceless art pieces! Bravo!
Theives
To woke for me.
Get over it
Too bad
❤ Thank you for these information.
Boozing buddies at the Cedar Bar at the time ?
Willem was an interesting character, Pollock was an oaf who would have done time if he lived.
He isn’t giving Africa/African countries and/or cultures any credit for creating, inventing anything. Everything is an iteration of what ‘s been gleaned from Europeans traders/Europe ( or other non -Africans) and missionaries. Wow
Like a pair of glorious buttocks these two rise up on the American landscape. No need to compare them, only together do they form the great, immense, incomparably resplendent arse, of American abstract expressionism.God bless these two titans of colossal magnificence.
super art
My opinion is that De Kooning was better than Pollock.
I will visit with my now adult kids who attended Horn!
How would you combine some both techniques
Thank you for give a chance to study at this wonderful peaceful place
I’m glad the students that came after us are doing great in art class. Seems like their liking it better then the days I was there 😊
Donte thank you. How did your post high school art work influence your thesis work.
Mami Wata isn’t white at all. Smh
Right. The "whiteness" in that artist's Mami Wata representation is capitalism. He was paid to make it that way.
Please stop taking advice from West African Christians or Muslims that have been colonized mentally to speak about Mami Wata. She is not a demon.
They are afraid of her power and her magic. So it makes sense that they would call her a demon. Her presence is very strong, especially when she's recognized.
Absolutely 💯
Thanks for the show as i admire both as the greatest artist ever but leaning to de Kooning as the absolute most intriguing Artist ever lived for the same spoken time will tell. Special the series Women 1 … is spectacular timeless.
The Egan gallery was a walk up
I can save you the trouble, both their wives were better painters and Pollock’s was the better of the two.
Very informative. Thank you.
If Pollock lived would he have gone to jail?
So epic! Looks like it was such an amazing performance!! Love this
Always Amazing 🤩
Wow, what an epic intro!
So proud of our work on this and thank you Stanley for this opportunity!
There is something inspiring about learning from the past. Artful. And technical. Like a great painting. This was so great. Thank you.
We're so glad you enjoyed this presentation. Thank you for watching.
What does Frenemies mean?
Friends/Enemies
Friends + Enemies = Frenemies
Meanwhile, in London a group of rich kids are busy taking Paris back to the 19th century.
Poor bastard, even his wife called him Pollock. 🤒
Thank you, Sammy!
thanks so much lady of my life
I really appreciate this presentation. Many of the details were new to me and help me form a more complete picture of their lives and careers. Thank you, Kimberly and all involved.
Roberto is remarkable, he was a student of mine in Florida. He was one of the hardest working student I ever had. He didn’t have a lot of formal training back then, but he has a unique vision and incredible work ethic. We are proud of him
Such beautiful work, backstory, lyricism in images and words. Such love, power, pain. Also, Tameka looks regal!
Great job
Steve I love these videos you're doing!
fire
