Since this recording was in 1991, I want to clarify for the benefit of those who aren't aware that this was part of "Barney & The Backyard Gang" which was a home video series. Barney didn't really explode and become hugely popular until "Barney & Friends" on PBS which would premiere on April 6, 1992. Only time will time if there are Disney Channel recordings of the first 3 videos from 1988-89 in which Barney was a dark purple and Sandy Duncan appeared as Michael & Amy's mom.

I remembered that movie is on Disney plus.

This also aired on the Disney Channel in 1993 as part of Mickey Mouse’s 65th Birthday marathon. They had the *Walt Disney Presents* opening and the *Disney’s Wonderful World* closing. Interesting how they didn’t actually restore the 1979 opening like they did to others that had it when they restored original opening titles.
