Miracle The Healthy Chick

Miracle was born with splayed leg. With a little bit of super glue, a rubber band and a bit of time she was as good as new. The fix was able to hold her legs in the correct orientation long enough for her muscles and tendons to be able to heal and began growing correctly. To help my poultry thrive I mix some extra protein and other ingredients in to the chick and layer feed to help with mineral absorption and parasite prevention. The oyster shells also help layers get the large amount of calcium they need to produce strong egg shells. Diatomaceous earth helps treat and prevent digestive parasites and food born insect food contamination and loss.

Our chick Miracle is recovering from splayed leg, and doing much better. She is standing and running just fine. She still is not eating or moving around as well as her sister but she is getting stronger by the day.
