Because you don't need an impact, stop being lazy.

That's a gigantic impactor and total overkill for your application. Lug nuts need 120nm, whilst even the smallest m18 driver will provide up to 339nm of torque. Be very careful to not over-tighten and sieze the thread.

Just use the wheel brace slacker, or get the right socket.

That's why they make special sockets for that

get a regular socket not a impact
