only hold 400hp till these trannys break. They're pretty strong
Who or where did your ecu for the turbo?
Hello, can you please do a parts list for the turbo CR-Z. I'm currently sourcing parts and I'm having a hard time making a list of all the fitting you used for that project. By the way I watched all of your videos on the turbo CR-Z build. You inspired me to try and make my own kit. I gotta say I was surprised to see your channel only has 1K subs. Keep up the great work!
Great video.. wondering where you got the printout? Did it come with the microsquirt? What is the program you are using on the computer?
Man, I thought you were gonna do something😅
Great idea! 5/8" cold rolled slugs work even better than hacked up bolts.
Is that table flat
The top metal on that table looks to thin for this type of clamping.
Same, could i et a copy of the diagram please! thank you!
I would be interested in one.
It finally shipped from pcb way! Test coming soon!
Don’t do it… lol. Ah who am I kidding, LS swap… hell putting Chevy v8 power in anything if anything, makes it reliable
Thaaaaats not something I had on my 2024 bingo card... Dare to be different my guy!
very cool. I love when unique cars get modified.
Thank you! A twist to this car is about to come out!
Sweet! It’s great to see it come together. Nice job. I know how much work it is. Where did you get your shifter for your automatic trans? Stock?
Thanks! The one I ordered that should work now is from Amazon I'll drop a link on the next video! The actual shifter is the factory rx8 one.
How did u connect ur shadow dash to your ecu ?
Via usb to the back of the head unit
Is there a specific rs232 to usb cable u used ? for some reason i can't get my radio to connect with my ms3pro . I'm also running atoto unit
@@miguelvilleda43 I used a usb "b" to usb cable (like printer cables) from the ms3x to the head unit, nothing special. If you use the rs232 I heard you have to use one of the more expensive ones like the one I tune with from DIYAutoTune!
Did you load shadow dash directly to the head unit? If so, how? Can you use a bluetooth modue? I currently use a MS3 Pro Evo with wireless.
@@jameshenson4871 I did! I had to download it to a usb and load it from there if I remember correctly. If you get lucky you can link the head unit to your hotspot and download it directly!
What lower tray is that ?
LRB
Did you do a video on how you did the exhaust?
There is!
I was scanning through the play list but I didn’t see it . I’m just standing this project and I’m hoping to run a full exhaust but I’m just not see how exactly yet
I got to the downpipe to the firewall, still nothing back from there but there appears to be plenty of room!
What radiator did you use
Mishimoto all aluminum factory replacement, came with my donor car!
Sweet! I am using the stock truck DBW pedal and I am modifying to fit. Congrats on your first sponsor! I watch every video. My son and I are building the same car. No turbo on ours though.
Should have the video done by the weekend! Also working on the shifter/ have driveshaft parts coming this weekend! Thank you so much for the support over the years! I wish my son would work on his so we can make a video LOL
Did you ever make the stuff downloadable or the links
I cannot but I can email it! Shoot me an email at enigmagarage843@gmail.com!
this is sick af
Right!
hell yeah! i got my ronin subframe stuff all welded up like a week ago, got my 8.8 axles last weekend and got my new ronin axles built. i actually ended up doing a lot of welding on the subframe. hoping to have my rx8 done in a few weeks. cool seeing rx8 content
I should have welded more but for how long this has taken oh well lmao when it breaks I'll get the mount kit and do it right! Thanks for the comment and watching my stuff!
If you clamp that without a retainer on the bottom, wont it simply push the clamp up rather then tighten the work piece
Nope, side tension keeps it holding! Just can't tighten too much or you'll warp the holes.
Chinese garbage
Awsome video yes can you make that info downloadable
Question, whats gonna hold the clamp to the table? Wont it just pull itself out of the hole?
Show us. Clamp something down. Hahahaha!
I would have kept the threads on to apply a wing nut when working with heavier or odd shapped pieces love the idea though
Good idea but yeah don't plan on doing anything near heavy duty on it.
I just bought one of these abs was thinking of doing the same thing... bunch of comments about it being too thin and will warp... ok i don't need it to hold down a 2 ton object, it's a hobby table.. and if it breaks or warps or whatever, I'll just return it
Exactly!!
Comment to boost the algorithm
💩🤡💩. HOBO JUNK😮😮😮
Can I get a copy of that pin out to of the rx8
Yeah send me an email!
@@EnigmaGarage okay where can I find your email!
enigmagarage843@gmail.com
This concept is the same as what professional welding tables are like. I jus imagine this not holding up long term if you put a lot a force but with light force mite be just fine
Light force is all I plan on doing!
HF is absolute chinese garbage
Go back in the garage and play with your dads tools
I'm starting to wire up my RX8 build. I dropped in an LQ4. Any recommended site on how to wire up the Mazda fuse box and LS? I have some of it but not all. Thanks for showing how your doing it! Keep it up.
I do have a video of it showing where I got power from for the ls ecu. What are you looking for exactly?
Several "In the know" state this table is too thin for many heat applications. My question is how many of these tops should you tack weld together to make acceptable thickness? Or will tack welding not be sufficient since the bulk of the table would have the air gap?
No idea on table stacking but I will be just doing small fixture jobs that won't need a bunch of hold pressure and exhaust/ intake situations!
I wanna do this now
Hey man! I have a quick question. Do you remember what the fitting size for the brake master cylinder hard lines are? They are a bit bigger than the other M10 x 1.0
I never checked those from what I can remember!
Super clean, very nice turnout
Thank you!
i give it 3 weeks before the holes are uneven, this table isnt thick enough to handle side load into the holes like a traditional table will
Just enough to hold in place for me, I'm not trying to do anything that needs a ton of force!
That’s cool 👍
Thanks!
Thank you for this. You are worth more than gold for this
j'ai un magasin de réparation de cardan tu regardes la photo
This is great timing as my axles just shipped . I didn’t get the grande as I didn’t know that was an option haha I have a manual car tho . I’m using a 3.55 and added a track lok carrier . This video was helpful so far to see what I’m getting into with the axles as I’ve never disassembled one either . I’m also 3d printing a fuel pump setup too! Appreciate it !
Awesome!!
My Ronin kit was a bit different. No inner (Ford) CV Bootincluded, no ABS Tone Ring required for the OEM Mazda outer hub. I too have the 3.55 vs 3.73 debate in my build; based on gear calculator should be fine with the 3.73 that came in the diff, but if not the 8.8 stuff is cheap and easy to get. Also I put a Eaton Tru Trac in mine.
I got the grande kit that isn't on their website yet, same as the fd grande kit. Little more pricy but didn't want to upgrade and take kit apart multiple times. Plus I had an auto and couldn't use the conversion axles with my stock hubs!
Currently looking at doing this. Found a shocking amount of things MEANT FOR this platform. Entirely new to me.
Right! So many possibilities!
Where did you get the panels?
Lrb direct!
You did so much with the weld it's not needed
Always trying to practice!
@@EnigmaGarage ahh gotcha
Very good!
Thank you!
Yea but that clamp you replaced needs the bolt because of how thin the metal is. On thicker ones it just slides in but it won’t have enough strength to stay straight
Not trying to do anything crazy just my regular fabrication!
