This year in Halikko-viesti i run leg 24 in our third team. At start, I had some problems to find control 2, because there wasn't much to read, and control 4 also wasn't found cleanly. After that I started to get hang of orienteering. Control 11 was also different place where I though.

The terrain was awesome, and orienteering was mostly as it should be. Biggest mistake was on control number two. Good orienteering first half, except wrong route choice to control 2. On to long leg to control number 8, I didn't know where I was, but I continue going north and found my self, so no big mistake there. Bad execution to controls 9, 10, 11 and 12. Mostly good orienteering. There was rain shower just before start, so at biginning asphalt was wet and slippery. Small mistake after control 2, and some hesitation towards control 4. And I took wrong routechoiches to controls 7 and 10. Last day of Laplan O Week Course wasn't long, but there was lot of uphills and I was tired from previous days. 4th day of Laplan O Week I have mixed feelings about this race. There were very good executions: controls 3 and 10. 3rd day of Laplan O Week The course was very difficult and rough, but I took most of the controls cleanly. So, I'm happy with that. Biggest mistake was in control 12, and I don't know what heppened there. The weather was still hot and I was tired previous days, therefore I was slow. The scenery was amazing. Thanks! I didn't run WMOC, so now I understand how my friends could make mistakes around the edges of the yellow open areas!
