Hey I'm close by lubbock
It's good to know we have viewers in Lubbock. I appreciate your support of the SherpaTraveler channel!
Hi, thank you for this video. I have a question, though. How would you know where to park for long-term? I do see some signs for 1-hr parking but none for long-term. Thank you.
Hi, you can park long-term in any parking spot that does not have 1-hour signs or other restrictions. Happy travels!
Thank you.
@@bashdrewyou are welcome!
Thanks for the vid, looks like easier to get to the ride share than Seattle Airport, isn't it?
The major renovation of LaGuardia has certainly improved the passenger experience and navigation. Thank you for the feedback!
Nice food 😋 👌 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
It was delicious 😋😊
DFW is one of my favorite airports. The Skylink is a great feature. Thanks for posting.
Thank you for the beautiful comment! I love DFW airport and Skylink and find them the most traveler-friendly and easy to navigate. Happy travels!
Thank you for sharing this! I actually booked this flight path and the same seat # on the 4th row. May I ask…which lounge were you provided access to flying Business class with American Airlines from Haneda Airport? Was it the Sakura JAL lounge?
Hi, Thanks for reaching out! Yes, it's the Sakura JAL lounge, and you get an excellent view of the runway and aircraft/gates! Below is the video from the lounge. Also, I recommend you select the food ahead, as the highly sought-after menu runs out by the time the flight attendant reaches the fourth row. Enjoy your travel! instagram.com/reel/C4GvyhouCyu/?igsh=MWxlaWkzeG4xcjNxaQ==
@@SherpaTraveler thank you so much! I watched the video you had of the Sakura JAL lounge. Was it crowded when you were there? I will definitely be plane watching. Thanks for the advice on the food. I plan on selecting the food ahead of time. I didn’t do that for my last flight with Singapore Airlines biz class from NRT to LAX (and it was not as good) last month.
You are welcome! The lounge was not crowded, and there are plenty of seats by the window for plane watching. My flight from NRT was canceled the morning of the flight, and the same day change to flight from HND did not allow me to select the food (I believe it was 24 hours prior to the flight) I wanted to try. Enjoy the lounge and flight!

Mount Elbert is 14,438 feet. I have stood on top of Mount Evans,( Mount Blue Skyway) in Colorado at 14,265 feet. Its a good thing I could drive almost all the way to the top hahaha!!!
Hi, I went with the placard on the top, which said 14,439ft, but I have seen 14,438ft and 14,440ft when researching trails to the summit. The drive to Mount Evans and the views are beautiful. Thank you for watching the video and sharing your experience!
tysm! as an anxious traveler this is unbelievably helpful to prepare for trips ❤
@@Gas.Station.Sushi404 You're so welcome! Navigating airports can be stressful for many, so it's great to hear this video helped prepare and make things easier for you. Happy travels on your upcoming trips!
Wonderful! Is there internet coverage at the summit of Mt Elbert?
Hi, yes, there is cell phone coverage at the summit. I heard Verizon and ATT are the only cell service providers there. Happy travels, and good luck with the hike!

Flying there next week. I can't believe how nice that airport is.
That's awesome! LaGuardia has really transformed recently. Have a great trip, and enjoy the new amenities!
One more question please: if you leave the key in the car when you leave, should you keep the engine idling or turn it off?
I turn off the car, leave the key on the dash, and let the person checking the vehicle know. Happy travels!
@@SherpaTraveler Okay, thank you. It seems like you left directly. Do you still need to go to the car rental office to complete the return procedure? thanks again
@deeplake1056 I'm happy to assist you with your questions! You don't need to go to the car rental office. If you need a physical or email receipt, wait for the receiving employee to check you in and complete the return. If not, get a thumbs-up from the employee, and don't forget to leave the keys on the dash and head to the flight check-in or gates. I like to take pictures or videos of the odometer, fuel, and the whole car on the return lot showing plates, and you will receive the return receipt in an email. Happy Travels!

@@deeplake1056 Happy travels!
Thanks... Very helpful. I didn't rent the car at PDX, but I will return it to the airport. I have been wondering which parking area I should go to for the return; and curious how far the walk is from rental car area to the terminal ...... Until I saw this video.

Qatar stopped going here to change routes to go to New York I hate Qatar so much dude the used to go here a lot now we’re stuck with only a British airways a350 goes here
Hi, thanks for your comment. I heard the same a few years back that American Airlines swapped their JFK to Doha route with Qatar Airways PHL to Doha. I am still mad at Qatar Airways. They did not allow me to take a hand carry and backpack, and I have used them multiple times and never had that issue. I think British Airways is good, but more options would be better.
@@SherpaTraveler agreed
Idk why but I always loved seeing airports I live in Portland and I’m going on a vacation the day the new terminal opens (Aug 14) thanks for posting this!
@@genosmith161 Thanks for watching! Airports have such a unique vibe, and I enjoy seeing them too. How exciting that you are traveling on the day the new terminal opens! I hope you have a fantastic vacation and enjoy the new terminal. Happy travels!
This airport is horrible for rental cars. They used to shuttle you. Now they make you walk.
It was a long walk to the rental car. I hope they bring the shuttle back again.

well you arrives stop enter how get to ticket or tag card? and when pick up after out pay cash or else?
You can use the toll or ticket lane when you enter DFW airport. If you have an NTTA toll tag, use the toll lane to enter and exit, and your toll account will be charged the amount. For tickets, use the tickets lane to enter and when exiting use cash or credit lanes to pay the balance on the ticket. I hope this helps. Happy travels!
Where are all the fish.. ooh one ray..
I thought the same! We did see some fish, but not as many as we were expecting. Before snorkeling, we went on a stingray excursion and saw many stingrays closer to the shore!
I drove from Pensacola to Destin but some how true the city..Only maybe 3-4 miles i have been driving in the highway . That city ride is much better, actually its so beautiful.
It's a beautiful ride. I'm glad you could experience it, and thank you for sharing!
This is an amazing place to visit. Standing here gave me goosebumps. Let's hope the great men carved from these rocks can continue to look out onto a free, democratic land.
It is indeed a powerful experience! The monument captures the grandeur of American history and symbolizes the enduring ideals of freedom and democracy. Standing in front, one can feel inspired and hopeful for the future of our nation.
Mount Rushmore should not even exist! Washington and Jefferson, slave owners carved on a sacred mountain on Native land without permission from Native American tribal leaders. Have you no shame America?
Thank you for your comment. It highlights the need for an ongoing dialogue about how we honor our past and respect the cultures and histories of all people.
The commentary😂
😂
They have confirmed the rumors. That a well known collation of artist and sculptor . Will start working on the outcropping to the left side of the monument in early spring oof 2025 . Of President Trump ! For Saving America against the democratic control of the Democratic Party. The Greatest President ever since sliced bread.

Interesting perspective however I don’t know how anyone chose to be driving if they didn’t need to during this spectacular phenomenon
Hi, it could be various reasons, but safety should always be a priority, especially during extraordinary events like a total solar eclipse. Planning ahead and ensuring everyone's well-being while enjoying such remarkable natural occurrences is essential.
At 3:11, street lights start to come on. I see a few cars on the shoulders with blinkers, during totality, despite signs admonishing such stopping, e.g. at 8:57
Hi, It's important to heed traffic signs and regulations, especially during events like a solar eclipse when visibility may be reduced. Safety should always be a top priority for everyone involved.
