Heartbreaking loss for our beloved community.

Really sad to hear about Laura Rodriguez, who I've known remotely since the year 2000. I talked to her on the phone in 2017 and during that conversation she expressed frustration with the local Catholic diocese for persecuting her (and her allegations, which involved her being the victim of a religious and organized crime conspiracy, were quite outlandish) because of her promotion of female clergy. I asked her why she retained her Roman Catholic identity instead of finding some more liberal church that aligned closer with her beliefs, and her answer was simply "But it's my church." I didn't keep up with her regularly since then, and only learned yesterday of her death and of her heeding my secondary advice to switch denominations (my primary one was to conform her beliefs to the church with which she so strongly and traditonally affiliated). I watched the entire funeral service on Grace St. Paul's Facebook page (the only such service I've ever watched in its entirety), and went here on TH-cam in search of it, but this 10/17/2021 more general church service was all I could find that mentioned her.

What an amazing sermon about what we are truly called to be as humans - by what we see in Jesus!

It is not 'Western society '; it is Europa supremacy. Until Christianity owns up to it being an intrinsic aspect of its doctrine nothing will change. Nice code words are not going to cut it. Yet overall a uplifting sermon reminding us to seek enlightenment and attainment of being a True Human Being. ------------------;

She is my angel God guide her and continue giving so much love to the migrants, my prayers with her always !!
