Just too bad South Road, between the end of the Southern Expressway and Griffiths Dr/Robinson Rd is no good, with no hope of it being fixed in the foreseeable future ! ! !

Why not just build it as a freeway?

Great to see this important infrastructure. Now as the population expands in the south, here's hoping we soon see the extension of suburban rail as well.

Waste of money

Look's beautiful, but I wouldn't even have to use south road at all, with the underpass.

Labor has a habit of spending too much money on projects...but I'll give it to them, they have the vision, the Libs don't have vision, and won't spend the money needed on getting projects like this done. This project needs doing...full stop.

What I don't get is the road on the way down south, there are no provisions to turn right out of side roads onto the upgraded highway...why didn't they build tunnels underground with a slipway on each side so cars could get onto the road. Looks like in order to turn right, you will have to travel a couple of k's to get a chance to make a u turn. Just by looking at the other recent video. What is going on. The other vid didn't allow for comments so am making them under this vid. Who was the narrow minded twit who didn't allow for right turn systems on the other proposed new section?

No right turns is gonna piss everyone off

Never forget the liberal Olson party built a 1 way express way. They have no credit when it comes to roads.
