170km Trek Manaslu circuit
Join us on an adventure in Nepal!
In April/May of 2024 we embarked on a guided trek of the Manaslu region of the Himalayas. Unfortunately there were wildfires in the region for the first week which made visibility and air quality poor, but we still really enjoyed the journey and discovered some beautiful parts of the country.
Our trek guides were fantastic and I would highly recommend them for your Nepal adventure! - Nireka Adventures

We were spending some time in the garden route South Africa and discovered a beautiful place to walk your dog. The George Dam / Garden Route Dam is located at the foot of the Outeniqua mountains and just on the outskirts of George. The loop we walked was 6.5km and leads you along the dam edge and through some pine forests. the trail is easy and it is a lovely place to spend some time outdoors. ...

Join us on our Hiking adventure as we trekked from Greyton to Mcgregor in the Western Cape, South Africa. The trail is roughly 14km each way and elevation gain was around 1000m on day one and 700m on day 2. We were lucky enough to have cooler conditions for February with a max day temp of 26 degrees, but it can often touch 40 degrees in summer. The waterfall swim spot was a highlight! we stayed...

I hope you do! Thanks
You did excellent work with camera. Beautiful place.
@@kamalbabu8826 thanks for the kind words
this is cool indeed.
Thank you
Most underrated video man, you deserve more than million view, your camera knowledge is great, which camera you using?
@@subhajitbar1379 thanks. I used a lumix S5ii for this trip
As others have already said, your film stands head and shoulders above the typical TH-cam fare. The composition of your shots, your editing and the quality of the cinematography are very impressive. I've been watching lots of videos on the Manaslu trek as I'm due to go in October with my son, and as an older trekker with no experience at altitude I wanted to be sure I was being realistic in being able to complete it. Once I began watching your film I forgot all about that and was immediately absorbed in the culture and landscapes you've captured. The footage at Serang Monastery in particular blew me away - may I ask if this was a standard side trip for your guiding company? It immediately made me want to add this to our itinerary. (I have done Tibetan Buddhist practices in the past and for me the culture of the region is as important as the landscapes and being Manaslu itself). I hope I will get there for October (unfortunately I rolled my ankle on a long walk this morning and am now limping..) - your film has inspired me afresh. Thank you very much!
@@michadaniels3809 hoping your ankle heals up fast and you are able to make the trip. Our guides from Nireka adventures were the ones to suggest the monastery stop, they wanted to give us something extra than the standard Manaslu circuit. I can highly recommend them, but I am sure you have already got another guide lined up. All the best
@@WarrenGoldswain Thanks! (Ankle rehab going well so far!) We did already have a guide lined up, but you've inspired us to add a side trip to Serang, (as well as the trips to Hinang Gompa and Pungyen Gompa higher up). Thank you again for sharing your beautiful film! All the best for your next trip.
Awesome ... Love From Nepal 🇳🇵
Thanks! Namaste
Hey I have the same snood 😂

Great Film!! I really enjoyed it :) - Who did you use to arrange a Guide for this Trek?? Did you take Public Transport from KTM?

Thanks! yes i would love to do all of them :) hopefully some more videos coming in the future!
super nice video really enjoyed it, well done
Thanks. glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you so much for sharing this amazing beautiful journey!
Thanks! glad you enjoyed watching
@13:59 The haze and smog this year was mostly due to nationwide wildfires. Basically, this year there was no winter rain at all. Come spring, the dried forests all across the nation, irrespective of altitude went ablaze. The wild fire radar at a point of time painted the entire country red... So many occurences. And now, there is unprecedented and never before seen amount of record monsoon rain leading to natural calamities in an already fragile geology.
Thanks for your helpful insight. I hope that the monsoon is not doing too much damage at the moment.
one of best video
Thank you :)
Wel come to Nepal.🇳🇵Thank you to promote Nepal.🙏🏻
Lovely place to visit, we will be back someday!
What an incredible video. The cinematography was excellent of villages, people, way of life, info, and scenery. You put in super human effort capturing trekking in forests! Thank You.
Thanks, it was a lot of fun to create the video of this Trek and looking forward to making more!
❤❤❤
Congratulations. Having done EBC and AC and ABC and other few shorter treks, this one is next on the list. However I get scared by narrow 1-2 feet paths with steep falls. Having seen many videos, seems these are at 1-2 places in the first 2-3 days of the trek. Seeing this video, seems the path was 3 feet or wider in all the places. I did see a narrow landslide area shown from a distance. Did you have to traverse it? any such 1-2 feet narrow scary paths in your trek? Thx
we didnt really experience any scary narrow path sections. I think you would be fine on this one. thanks for the comment
Namaste sir welcome to Nepal Enjoy your upcoming days 🙏🙏🙏🙏🇳🇵🇳🇵🇳🇵
Thanks you!
Love from Nepal ❤ Do visit again 😊
Thanks! and I intend to :)

Fantastic Video Warren. Very well put together, and beautiful storytelling. Thank you for sharing your adventure. If I could ask you a question... what camera did you film your trip with?
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it. I used a Lumix s5ii. great in camera image stabilising for those walking shots.

What an incredible video! The views look absolutely breathtaking. Your footage captures the majestic beauty of the region and the people and their culture which is truly inspiring. It has been a couple of years since my last trek, now can't wait for the next one. Thanks for sharing this amazing adventure!
Thanks for taking the time to watch our trip :) I am glad you are inspired to get out there again!
Well done guys, epic trek and video.
Thanks Bruce!
So proud of you guise! Y'all pushed thru and made it. Love the little bits of highlights at the end of the day. The sight of the grand snowcapped peak was Mad awesome in video and I cannot imagine being there. I might be crying tears of joy AND pain. Hahahaha Mad night and day transition @ 5:32! (Or was it 5:22?) I wish there was bits of narration in the video cause I just wanna know the awesome inside info from conversations y'all had w the locals. Hehe. Like the national flower. Never knew that. Also Jill and the lady tryna converse the number eight 😂 too cute! Lastly, how did y'all make that donkey walk thru the door just like that! 🤯
Thanks Farah it really was an amazing trip! wish we could have included more, but we would end up with a 5hr video. The donkey kept sneaking in and getting chased out, so we kinda knew he would be coming through again at some point :)
Great video, so many good insights. Really excited to be doing the circuit in August.
Thanks, I hope you have a wonderful time!
Great to see the course ahead of our 4 ball game this friday. Thanks
Its a lovely course, definitely one of my favourites in Durban. enjoy
Nice anamorphic footage
Thanks :)
Nicely done.
thanks :) it was a lovely hike
This was atmospheric and simply beautiful my friend!

well edited and well played , ATLANTIC BEACH is a tough course . Well done on your +4
Awesome video, I did Groot Winterhoek in December 2021 and it was unbearably hot, so much so that when we hiked back to the car park we left at sunset and walked through the night. Booked to do this hike again in April 2023. What month did you do this cold wet hike?
this was June or July
Enjoyed this
Howsit man. Loved the video. What camera and tri pod do you use to film?
Also what app do you use for the ball tracer? I'm also a member at Clovelly CC by the way
Hi, its a panasonic GH5 with a standard tripod. also used shot tracer app.
Dude, lovely stuff - keep it up!
Thanks, have not been out with the camera for a while, need to get back at it.
