this pad is completely useless when need precision.utter chit for 101%!!
You never mention the fact the analog sticks are absolute crap. Just looking at you using the analog sticks like digital sticks and making no mention of how analogs are meant to be for nuanced movement is a no no.

My Ipega 9099 now suddenly showing up as Ipega 9118. Reset doesn't work. The controller works fine though but nevertheless very weird.
It works with samsung galaxy a71(bluetooth 5.0)?And do you need an emulator?

How does this work with IOS 12 on an Iphone 6 plus? Specifically on Minecraft. Do you need to map the buttons or does it automatically read or something?
Apple stopped giving this controllers support, so they no longer with in iOS or iPadOS.

No, iOS and iPadOS are no longer supported for this kind of controller, just xbox/ps controller and MFi controllers.

The biggest difference was iOS support, but it doesn't work anymore

Yes, no problems with buttons
Which is better? Ipega pg 9099 or pg 9118? I'm gonna purchase a controller but, I don't know what model should I buy in these two.
The biggest difference was that 9118 was able to connect to iOS devices, but after iOS 13 and iPadOS 13 is not possible anymore, so basically they both are the same, the difference is the color.

Would this fit on a phone with a somewhat bulky ish case? I have a one plus 7 pro with a case that has 2 pieces to it
It could, the space isn't much wide but still, I guess taking the case off can be an option
