Yumm!
Happy Thanksgiving. Are your blackberries thornless?
Thanks! and yes they are the thornless variety
Yes, you do make it look easy. I'm hoping to add irrigation and shade clothes to the bed I have now. I am hoping to create a new bed next to the present one in the later part of the winter. Right now still trying to live without a kitchen due to the flood. I will get there sooner or later.
Awesome! let me know how everything turns out!
Cauliflower is looking awesome. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Thanks, yes, they are beautiful!
The garden is looking great! Happy Thanksgiving!
@@Offgridlee444 Thanks same to you!
You made that look easy man, good job. 👍🏻
thanks! getting it done!
Yum 😋
@@OSKG2023 it came out great! 😋
Definitely Cajun style good old fashioned way of doing things
@@KJT-gulflinecoastal 😊 thanks!
Aesthetic Louisiana
Dang man I didt think you could do it in this time thanks
@@KJT-gulflinecoastal should work out we will see! All depends on the weather cooperating!
The Texas Super Sweet onions are awesome, I grew them last winter. 👍🏻
@@OSKG2023 nice!!! 😊
Watching you do this looks so easy from my recliner. Haha. That greenhouse is looking good.
@@impatientcajun 😆 right! It wasn’t so bad I build things according to the least amount of hard work as possible…. But doesn’t always play out that way 😉
So much beautiful green growth.
@@motorheart9045 thanks 😊
Your food is looking good, so when is dinner so that can come over to eat?😊
@@jacquelinedarby1076 😊 thanks! You’re invited anytime!
Your garden is looking good. Well, that rain last Wednesday did a job on me. It flooded my kitchen and study. First time ever for us to flood. The garden will have to make it on it's own for a little while.
@@impatientcajun oh wow! Sorry to hear that! Sending prayers for a back to normal life for you!
New to the channel! Everything looking good! That cabbage is the truth! -N
Thanks 😊 so much! Thanks for joining me!
Looks delicious
Thank you 😋
I'm also doing the same. So, we both shall find out.
@@cguidry1481 awsome! Let me know how it goes!
I did Pole beans for the first time this year. They took forever to start producing. The Bush beans I planted at the same time produced 2 batches and died before I got my first batch of beans from the pole beans. But once they started they produced nonstop for over a month and got a lot of beans. Maybe they just take a while to get started?
@@natakays well these did start but most of them shriveled up on me so not sure what’s going on with these per say 😆 I’ve done well with Limas but another company seed, first time with these seeds 2nd planting did the same thing 🤷♂️ will try again in spring but with different seed company same variety we will see!
I do ok growing beans, but my problem is I never pick them and eat them. So, I’m going to give them one more try come spring and if I don’t do better, then beans are going to stop appearing in my garden.
@@OSKG2023 well best part about growing shelling beans is that you can leave them to dry on plant to store away so you don’t have to pick as often if they make.
😮really like your video's
@@deanharrison556 thanks!😊 thanks 🙏 for watching!! ❤️
Good luck with your experiment man. I’m on year 2 of gardening and failed at potatoes both years, but 2025 will be the year I finally get it right (I hope). 😂
Thanks 😊 I’ll send some potato prayers your way 😉
Congrats on your beautiful harvest! I just planted my first round of mustard seeds yesterday because it's been so hot & dry around here in St. Landry Parish. I was afraid they would bolt, but now I've got a lot of catching up to do!🤦🏽♀ Keep on growing! 🥬
@@dvorahbatzion6794 thanks!😊 yes weather not cooperating much, but gotta get something going for sure ! I don’t like being behind sometimes I’m too far ahead 😆
@Smalllouisianahomestead1979 I hear ya!😂
Where was the potlikker man? And the cornbread? lol. Just busting your chop, but those 2 things are a must with green or cabbage IMO. Great vid. 👍🏻

That cabbage and them carrots look great. I was so happy when we got rain over here, we needed it badly.

What does your shirt mean? I decided? The garden looks great. I live in Lafayette and was so happy it rained. My tiny garden was so happy too.
@@impatientcajun yes thank god for the rain! Thanks for joining me!! And my shirt means I have decided to follow Jesus Christ I got it when I was baptized! Thanks!!😊
wishbone growths are great for hotdog roasting, but for trees its a weak point and will lead to your tree splitting in half later in life. I know it looks cool as you will have an instant tree shape, but it will lead to a damaged tree later. just use straight wood cuttings for best results.
@@sethsmith9999 just a test run, good point though! If they grow anything like my main tree they will sprout from the main root anyway, with new branch’s thanks for the good pointer!
Looks good! 🧄

Garden is looking good. I'm having some trouble with leaf rollers destroying my bean plants right now. Planted my cabbage last week and so far they are looking good!
@@nitaleblanc thanks 😊 wow you may have infestation of them I’ve only seen them here once, they commonly lay their eggs on top of the plant leaves so they can roll the leaves when eggs are hatching so they can feed off the plant out of the sun, but I’m no expert just some info may help you, if you see the eggs just pull the leaves or use liquid insecticide on eggs should get rid of them! Glad to here cabbage is doing well, hope you are well too keep on growing! Godbless!
I would love to see the process to plant the turmeric. I'm a first time gardener & I'm in Central South Louisiana. I absolutely love Turmeric & ginger so I'd love to know how to actually grow them.. Great video!!

Them web worms, that's what I call them, are horrible. This is the second round with them this year. Yes, this is drought is crazy. Thank goodness for my water catchment system, even though they about dry also. Last year west Louisiana was on fire. Scary, family there.
@@cguidry1481 yea I noticed twice this year , and it’s been really dry! I have one can I collect rain water in and it’s about dry also that irrigation system is a life saver! Especially if you have a well, fire ban in effect here at the moment! Thanks 😊 for watching!
Great job! 👏
@@Overtimefisherman thanks 😊 and thanks for watching!
Our garlic the first year did awesome, growing in flower pots. Our garlic the second year was a bust, after dedicating an entire bed to it for 9 months, so this year it will go in big grow bags. And man, buy some Leeks and make a potato stew with sausage and leeks, that is so good. Then you replanted the leeks like green onions and they will regrow. 👍🏻
awsome! and yea imma have to try that out thanks!
