I will not advise you to stay for the laser show especially since your train is at 9pm. Only if you can wrap up super fast, reach bus stop, bus leaves early and reaches station and then you climb up the station bridge to reach other platform. Only if you can manage to do all this before 9PM sharp, you can attend the show. Else, let go.

Compared to phi phi islands and nearby island tours in krabi, James bond island wont be worth. Waha kuch activity karne layak hai nahi..its just like visit the site, click pictures and go back. Also, the water colour difference is huge btwn phi phi islands and sites near james bond island. The water here is brownish, may be polluted..which doesn't look good for swimming. Whereas you get crystal clear water in phi phi islands and nearby islands of krabi

Thank you for your kind words. But these are government buses. The timings may vary as mostly these buses are available all day until evening.

For renting scooty - most places like Phuket/Krabi asks for Passport. In Bangkok/Pattaya, they would simply give it after you pay a certain amount of deposit on top of the rent. For for driving across Thailand, you need an International Driving License as Indian Licence is not allowed.

I have no idea about internal driving permit. I carried International Driving Permit.

@@gauravmusafir when we apply from regional RTO IDP we generally get INTERNATIONAL DRIVING PERMIT …so is it legal in thailand ? Also in which hotel did you stayed

Yes, regional RTO IDP is a legal document. We stayed in multiple hotels not limited to one.

No, we didn't.

Sometimes they just warn whether you have the intl. license or not...but it's not mandatory..they would simply keep your passport and give you the rental.

But it's better to carry an intl. license. We were caught once in Pattaya and because we had the intl. license, we were fine.

It costed us 650 baht per person. Its takes almost 1:45 hrs travel time.
