I've been using Revit for about 10 years now. way back 2014 I saw a video on YT regarding Revit and thankfully I pursued learning it thereon on my own. I no longer use Sketchup and AutoCAD for particular purpose such as 3D cause in Revit with Navisworks brings everything in a whole new level . 😄

when the dimension tabs are used are they measuring from the core or the finish? or does it measure from wherever the wall line is set on?

what if you wanted to add timber to the outside faces and not the top of the floor? for example where the step is, the riser in the step

Thank you for this. I just finished 2nd year architecture and don't have funding for the final year. I am spending this off year learning Revit to apply for jobs next year with the aim of my Revit skillset being one of the main aspects in my resume. This video has helped in trying to help navigate towards that goal as I had been just been stuck in the small boat.
