I feel that! I'm a sucker for VR horror because it REALLY immerses you. When you're watching a movie or playing a PC/console horror game, you can just look away from the screen... in VR, you turn your head away and the monster is still there. Definitely a whole lot more horrifying!!

YEAH I redid this with some friends, I didn't realize it separated you from your friends just like in FEARS! Cripsy is so mean for that and tbh I love it 😂

Yep! It's a public avi and when I first started using it, I didn't know the character. But yeah it's a combo of the Hoppou base with 001 as the color scheme and details.

I also want to add though, I'm not sure if it applies to this maze but a good trick for most mazes is to hug the left wall and follow it to the end. Any well made maze will work with this trick. It won't be the shortest path, but it'll work! That being said I'll still take a peek at it.

Yeah I learned that after posting the video, excellent info to add! Though ultimately I will always recommend the save manager as the best possible option. That being said, hopefully when persistence comes out officially we won't even need to worry about this stuff. :3

I always like to make a joke after the language diverging part, that it would be the perfect chance for a mute to do a voice reveal. Since nobody can hear them, you just suddenly see your mute friend's mouth moving and everyone loses their mind that they can't hear them 🤣

Yeah I saw someone ask about that on reddit earlier today. I saw in his Discord that there was some drama with his ex who was part of the group that made those maps and after moving to a new server, he left the group (Backdoor Interactive or something) and no longer has the rights to the worlds or the assets used in them. So it's possible he took them down for that reason.

@@NovaRedux UPDATE: just yesterday the first world of the series is back up and was updated to unity 2022!! I hope he uploads the other 2 as well!!

@@DemonFira There was an announcement on his Discord. TL;DR, mental breakdown led to deletion because he was sick of being "The Backrooms Guy" and is going through a lot. But the maps are going back up one week at a time, the fourth week there is a new Backrooms map he's uploading that will be strictly what he wants to make and PC-only

@@NovaRedux Thats fair. and that sucks its a pc only cuz i cant take any of my friends to it ;-;. but hey new Backrooms map! thats exciting. I'm glad in the end he chose to reupload them an continue on cause there is alot of people who love these maps. Myself included! would have been so devastating if they were gone forever! and if i could say anything to him i would say take your time in making these maps and dont rush it and focus on yourself. mental health always takes priority over anything else. and if all the backrooms stuff gets way to stressful cause of too much things going with life then its ok to take a step back! i love these maps dont get me wrong, but id rather him be mentally well while doing these maps than to say "keep making these maps! we want more!!" and completely disreguard his mental state. MontaiL, we are all rooting for you bud! keep up the great work, but prioritize your mental health first. I wish you well!

Nah for sure, my last video I did in Nucleus shows I definitely want to add more editing and sound effects to the videos... I won't deny that I was just trying to push this one out and my heart wasn't into it as much. I'll definitely keep that in mind going forward though to make sure they're the best they can be. <3

Of course. Organism and Epilogue are very close to my heart. I've played through the trilogy ad nauseum, and I know if I do another video eventually on the trilogy, I want to do it right. I want to do a deep dive into the lore, or my interpretation of it, and that will require a lot of time and research and right now I don't have the mental capacity, patience, or time for that lmao. But just know it's one of those back burner passion projects I've always had that I will tackle someday. Maybe if I can get in touch with the creator and get his thoughts and feelings on the maps I think that would be nice.
