ABB ACQ580 with Anti-Cavitation Function
Кавитацията е образуване на мехурчета или кухини (cavities) в течността. Казано по друг начин, това е когато течността започне да се преобразува в пара.
При центробежните помпи ако входящият поток е недостатъчен спрямо необходимия изходен поток се образува зона с ниско налягане от задната страна на лопатките на работното колело на помпата и течността може да започне да кавитира.
Кавитацията не само намалява ефективността на помпата заради нарушената цялост на работното колело, но води и до повреди в лагерите и уплътненията.
Серията честотни задвижвания ACQ580 има вградена функция за избягване на кавитацията без използването на външни сензори. Алгоритъмът се основава на кривата на кавитация, която се използва, като еталон за нормална работа.

The bean-counters who forced this needlessly dangerous substation design to be implemented just to save the cost of normal disconnector switches should go to jail for reckless endangerment. Also the linemen not wearing safety glasses are insanely stupid.

This is all fascinating but... why on earth would anyone build a 132kv substation with no isolators? This kind of live link removal work, while interesting to watch, is pretty dangerous and also time consuming compared to just opening an isolator/switch.
At some point you need to work on the isolator itself, which is what's happening here. Presumably this is a part of the system where there's no redundancy and they can't just shut off further down the line. The safest option would be to isolate that, but if it means cutting off supplies to a large area then I guess uptime comes first and they just make the job itself as safe as possible.
Why not just install 4 conventional discinectors. Then the complete substation could be serviced with no problem the price for this would be small compared to the risk there are involved in live work.
the guy who got the bonus for the cost savings is not the guy taking the risk of the hot work.
Now how do you do a maintenance on those disconnector...
@@alexandresabourin9471 you unload & open the next disconnectors on either side.
@@alexandresabourin9471 in general DCB’ is a stupid design. I have not analyzed the SLD but you need to be able to Isolate all component in a substation to be able to perform service one these. The price to do it correct is limited and it greatly minimize the risk for the personal.
Although they know exactly what they are doing, I'm pretty sure their balls are made out of steel.

Absolutely fascinating. I CAN work with electrical equipment, do simple house electrical work (install ceiling fans, GFCIs, etc), but I could NEVER have been an electrician; my hat is off to you guys/gals that do it.

Does anyone know why there is an arc if the circuit breaker has the other end of the link isolated from the bus bar? I'm having trouble figuring out where that power is going.

Hi Because the circuit breaker is open the connection to the transformer side is dead and there is no power flowing However on the line side it is live up to the open circuit breaker That arc drawn is more breaking busbar volts than power I.e the charging current to make it live which is minimal amps
@@osmanali123 I assume capacitance, the way you can get arcs to anything, even something floating, if the voltage is sufficient.
It's just charging current. You always get some arcing on high voltage disconnect even when there is no electrical load on the other end. If there was you would get a 15ft long snaking lightening bolt that you wouldn't want to be anywhere near!
