Fairy dancing with Dandelions
I've been making a Fairy dancing with Dandelions. Its made from six thicknesses of stainless steel and there is nearly a mile of wire. With thanks to fantasywire.co.uk/ for inspiration, help and supplies. By the way, be very careful of social media spam selling sites selling fake wire sculptures using Robin Wrights pictures and copyrights.

The Baden Powell Project is the restoration and public use of a unique and marvelous fishing smack. She is unique - the only double-ended vessel of her type in existence and built in 1900. She is now used to tell passengers about the town’s maritime history of fishing, trade and exploration, using the river as an unusual perspective.

Inspired by David Roys sculptures I had to reverse engineer it and it look hours of experimentation and thought. Mechanism and how it works is at the end! It includes 7 magnets, 35 lead weights, negator (constant force) spring, low friction bearings and grease.

Hi Carol, the tapestry is the only thing I have bought from an exhibition years ago. So. I can't help although I have made everything else. I am at the moment making a second house model which is a watermill and bakery but it will be a while yet. You can always try contacting me here. Thanks

I’ve just discovered your video and cannot express the pleasure it’s given me. I am presently attempting a small Tudor room and couldn’t decide on the wall decoration but now I can set about it knowing how an authentic home would look. I am intrigued by the tapestry and wonder how it’s made? Wish I could have a tutorial workshop with you as I stumble along doing my own version and using such basic tools that my miniatures are only passable. It must have taken so long to complete your lovely house. Have you done any others?

Most of the building was delightfully executed, however the servants quarters were horrid! They need wooden beds, not pallets, in a larger room, maybe an attic annexe linking. My only other gripe was the suckling pig didn't look real & delicious, it should be a maple like colour, & glistening. Otherwise, it was utterly charming, my favourite things are the A frame structure & beams! 😊

WELL DONE. Most of the houses are either Victorian or modern, or an example of a modern family that likes vintage things (which is what the one I’m working on is), and I’ve seen a small handful of houses that are either 50s, 60s, 70s, or 80s. and I saw one house that had a Tudor exterior, but a whimsical interior, but this is the first authentic Tudor I’ve seen. I actually like ALL of the kinds I’ve listed, but this was an enjoyable change. How is the house staying up? It looks like it’s coming from the wall, but I don’t see a stand under it.

Thank you for welcoming us into your home. I enjoyed everything! Your home is very cozy and charming. The food made me hungry! Lol...loved your narrative. The detail is amazing!. The soot around the fireplace and the flickering candles and fire. If you see this comment could you tell me how long did it take to build and where did you get your inspiration from? You must have been a Tudor in a past life. Lol. Peace and love from the Olympic Peninsula in Washington State.❤😊 Thank you once again.

i feel like ive mentioned this here before, apologies if i have, but i live in Chadderton, Oldham, about a mile from an old Avro factory where Lancasters were built. i think its some sort of industrial equipment manufacturer that owns it now. i know that during the war they considered building a runway near it, wish they had in a way. I collect diecast aircraft, ive dropped many hints that id like a Lancaster model for christmas, im keeping my fingers crossed lol.

This is really beautifully done.Your craftsmanship on it is extremely good. The details throughout were excellent and I like the use of stencils to decorate the top of the walls in the Great Room, dining room.A very nice touch..The kitchen looked fabulous, but I don’t think I could live without things we have now.A more comfortable life.I also liked how you kept everything to character in the bedroom. You certainly researched this out when you started this one.Did you also make all the furnishings for the fire place too, pan, poker etc as well as the grate?.I should imagine getting things for the inside of miniature doll housed of this period would be really difficult.I think it’s amazing and I love it.Thank you for showing it.🥰
