Paadu-Naadu-Koodu - Navarathri Golu 2024 - (Thiruppaiyum Thirupathigalum)
Adiyongals Navarathri Golu 2024 is based on two interesting aspects of Thiruppavai.
1.Thiruppavai and Thiruppathigal - Sri KAnchi Swami, popularly know an Prathivadhi Bayangaram Annangachariar Swami has done a vyasam on relating a key line in each pasuram of thiruppavai is related to one Divya Desam. We have tried to intepret the same and have tried to present an activiy based- puzzle solving method of Golu this year.
2.This year, we also are part of our Sathsang's Theme based golu, in which we have tried to enjoy Ramayanam through Thiruppavai. "Kodhaiyin Raama Kaadhai" is the theme . Here in Singapore our SriVaishnava Sathsang called “NAMA Singapore” attempted a maiden project of a Themed Golu across various Thirumaligais of Bhaghavathas accross the island.
2024 being the year of Ram Lalla, We wanted to do our kinchit Kainkaryam in celebrating Him and chose to do our Themed Golu “Kodhaiyin Rama Kaadhai” which is essentially Thiruppavaiyum Ramayanamum. The Thiruppavai series “Thiruppavaiyum Ramayanamum” by Smt.Prabha Senesh in the year 2018 was our main source of inspiration and we thoroughly enjoyed this learning journey.
By visiting the various Thirumaligais, which is a like a “Ramayana Golu Anuyathra @ Singapore” one can delve into the divine ocean of Ramayana with the Thiruppavai verses and display of golu bommais. This was our concept that we tried to implement in this Golu.
We have tried to understand and interpret the vyakhyanams of both parts of the Golu to the little knowledge we have.
