When will the AI bubble pop?
We are using AI for things that AI should *NOT* be used for. Is AI really going to replace humans? I doubt it. 🤖

Great analysis, thank you! Just a quick off-topic question: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (mistake turkey blossom warfare blade until bachelor fall squeeze today flee guitar). How can I transfer them to Binance?

Can you make a video making a c program that can target an application window and redirect the windows' composition in x11 and record that window only using FFmpeg, like how obs, chrome, or basically every other application records only the window? I'm asking this because When ever I ask online to do this task I usually get a response to record the whole window and crop to the specific area and keep the area clean of other application and also not to move the targeted application, personally this feels very janky.
Yo man , you mind sharing the background image , or its name ? Also font name please :D

RIP Bram. You legend.
The only reason i haven't uninstalled this garbage of an app was because of the only 6 real friends i met on it, most who i met on other apps. Servers? I quitted all of them.
clack clack clack...
how do i use plugins that need to be called using require().setup({})? i wanna use oil.nvim but when i installed it using PM, the Oil command doesn't detected
makes me want to write my own plugin, wil get there someday :(
Can you make a video to tell how you make this plugin. Like a tutorial video. It will be cool.
the source is small, you can probably read it
LUKE SMITHS LOST SON, SUBSCRIBED
started using nvim after using vim motions for awhile at that point in vscode, but doesnt matter how many times i upgrade my nvim i cant get it to v0.10+(i use ubuntu distributor in windows)
compile from source, requires openssl, cmake and few minutes with an average processor
bob-nvim is another option
@maximilianlosch7479 ill check out whats that. but i already got v0.11.0, i guess its unstable but i didnt have any crashs yet
Oh, this reminds me of the one and only Luke Smith. He definitely left an incredible legacy and influenced so many of us. I have a slightly different approach, though-I enjoy writing my own plugins with just the features I need and use. That way, I can keep things simple and tailored to my preferences. However, what you're doing is great too!
the legacy of luke lives on
bro what damn
This is the first time I've seen someone go through this install with this much easy to follow detail. Thanks! Hey saw "Strip down the Intel ME/TXE firmware" in the 21:08 menu - wonder if selecting this would be useful?
But it runs Xorg as root, game over.
I decided to reinstall it tonight on qemu as a trial before installing it on a chromebook. Well, you can read my experience on the subreddit. It wasn't a good experience. Too many bugs.
Alpine is nice, but I need lots of desktop apps that don't exist in it (and i won't run them as flatpaks either). Great for servers or hacking, but not for a desktop IMHO
LARBS user spotted
He doesn't use LARBS.
@@folksurvival he's using dwm and the same media player applications, his terminal user and host name are configed to the same color scheme as larbs, and is screen recording in the exact same style as Luke smith. If he isn't using larbs exaclty, he's riced his system to be nearly identical
@@iavv334 There's no LARBS script for Alpine.
Thank you for the tutorial, I got three hours to make a presentation on my thesis now. wish me luck
Finished with two hours to spare 😎
Holy hell the apk dot is really cool. Is there a equivalent for voidlinux?
Not that I know of.
I read playstore reviews thst says its full of ads and freeze frequently
The worst part is that the UK has actually been experimenting with replacing engineering university with paid apprenticeships since 2015 and it has been going very well, arguably even more professional than college graduates. In early 2024 they've even started experimenting the same thing with medicine, so maybe in a couple decades, we might not even need university even for engineering and medicine anymore.
Nice. - I want to watch DVDs on a CRT that accepts composite / Component / RGB - is there a media player that will run on a "computer" or device which will output to one of these formats? DVD looks crap on my LG OLED, I even prefer 480i.
I use the cheapest new motorola phones and i DONT have space to be installing the jacksons gas station app or whatever. I already have the low space warning, i literally can't install it
you should do 2 pass on ffmpeg and set the bitrate.........
wow you figured out how to use libdvdcss? must be a miracle!
Luke's son grew up fast!
wow you should install Napster next
Poor keyboard
Bro should i buy and x220 for programming and learn kali linux in 2025 and what you prefer x220 and x230
Make MKV beta will do it free and easy (blu ray too)
Luke smith jr- is that you?
easier way to check what groups you're in is to type 'groups' into the shell
The obvious reason people stream movies instead of buying DVDs is because after you have watched the movie, the DVD is worthless. Unless you have a severe case of alzheimer's, movies that you have already seen suck. The value of a CD is a quality music source that you can digitize. I subscribe to Spotify to hear stuff that I don't already have but I'm usually listening to music that I've ripped from my CDs to a flash drive or NAS in the house or while driving (there is a USB port in my car). (I do have HandBrake but haven't used it in a long time.)
What if the movie isn't available anywhere on streaming? Media preservation will always be important
you still have something physical you can sell if you don't want it anymore unlike with streaming
L take. I regularly re-watch movies that I like. Not to mention, almost all of my DVDs have been ripped onto a media server, and if that data was ever lost, those DVDs are literally a physical backup.
So you only listen to music CDs once too?
MakeMKV and Handbrake.
"Mrs. Robinson" is awesome.
Made me think of all the good times of using Nero in high school to share games with friends to we can do some LAN gaming. Good times.
bro unearthed the sacred text circa 2006
This video looks like it was from 2006 lol.
0:51 just type "groups"
Luke Smith but with hair. And nicer on the eyes.
Handbrake can do this for you considering it was designed for this. You can RIP straight to an encoded video that will play anywhere and has a ton of options for grabbing the specific title you may want and formatting it.
Yeah, couldn't get it to work on my machine.
Didnt knew Handbrake can do that as well.
Didnt knew Handbrake can do that as well.
How??
@@littlefrank90 Hmm? Install handbrake and when you launch it you can tell it to scan the current DVD in the drive.
Yes, you can rip CDs and DVDs, but odds are it would be much easier to find those movies/albums online. And if you have specific needs, like seamless ripping of the audio tracks, encoding media with a particular codec and settings, extracting a particular audio/subs track from the DVD etc. - you will need a little more expertise than to simply find an app and press a button.
What about malware though?
@@Atom224 Video formats are not executable and can't contain trojans or malware. Just keep your browser up to date and don't try to watch any .bat/.exe/.msi/.sh files and you'll be fine.
@Atom224 Malware can do all it wants.. inside an emulation/virtualization sandbox, if you mean the windows' apps for ripping.
@@deniskhafizov6827 No I meant the µTorrent Apps for Linux
i don't know if you know this or not but therrre is a very low thumb-sound everytime you press a key.
That's the DVD drive.
@@brycevandegrift Typing DVD-drive?
@@hermokuolio01 Oh, are you talking about my keyboard? That's normal, my keyboard sounds like that in person.
that's what a mechanical keyboard is supposed to sound like
Windows: Use makemkv, two mouse clicks to read DVDs as MKV (without command line). Includes all audio tracks and subtitles. For Audio CDs use CDex, or use Exact Audio Copy for scratched disks. There have been better programs long time ago (e.g. Feurio), but at least these still work/exist.
Did you notice that this is a Linux channel? other system and programs, anyway your comment may not help much.
@@l4nc MakeMKV is open source. You can complie it on whatever distro you want.
@@l4ncSometimes you just don't have a comparable app in the Linux world, and you have to use some emulation or virtualization software to run the Windows' original. Take at least the aforementioned EAC and its huge database of every CD drive existing - there are simply no such Linux apps to rip CDs smoothly, conserving every possible bit of sound.
@@deniskhafizov6827 Like with photoshop, I will always recommend using Linux native apps and even other free tools if nothing helps then WINE + Winapps. The most important is the result and one's own satisfaction
Go away It's a Linux channel
Good to see a new video, you are right somehow you have to manage to watch your own dvds. Hope to see more of your minimal solutions
