he was so underrated then i was one of the few listening to his albums religiously while other people listened to pop singers like Britney and nsync and backstreet boys who did have great songs but never great artistry and music talent like joe , in the rnb category people listened to 112, r kelly, boyz2 men, usher, guys like this went under the radar and most didnt know him except one or two songs that made the charts also they had to contend with gangster rap like snoop dogg and warren g nate dogg etc which was rising fast hence so much talent got unnoticed because there were so many talented music and artists and singers
