Do you need protection, if the inverter has inbuilt protection from overload, overcurrent, overvoltage. Why should installers still install protection?
Okay now here's the question. Upon all the internal protections that low frequencies inverter possess, don't they get damaged when overloaded still? Answer: They do. Which means the internal protections of inverters sometimes are not fast enough to trigger themselves because there are bunches of other instructions that the MCU is running at a time. So protect your machines with external devices too, it will save you lots of stress and cost

I believe HF inverter currently is made better than before … this is 2024… I believe a lot has been corrected ..

The truth is low freq inverter is much more durable and reliable, High freq is more efficient and more configurable..the number one reason i hate High freq inverters is that when it burns or have a fault, its almost unfixable, inless u send it to the company that made it, good luck finding a road side inverter man that can fix it, the parts are proprietary, but when High freq inverter has a fault, almost any electrician can fix it...this is a major issue for me. its the number 1 deal breaker for me ..why buy something only the maker can fix .LOL U should have added this to your points for the High frequency inverter, its a major point in my opinion.
High frequency consists of lots of electronics components, they're not meant to be fixed by road side electrician. Get an expert that understands both theoretical and practical aspect of electronics components. They'll fix your high frequency inverter for you with ease. I bought my 4.2kw 24v hybrid inverter… to avoid issues with Nigeria grid that flunctuates anyhow .. I bought an external battery grid charger , external mppt charger.. so now my inverter is inverting only.. hope it’s a good idea…??
No need to buy external battery charger. That 4.2kw can deliver enough for your battery than the external charger. Just do the necessary configurations and your inverter won't be exposed to any risk
I think what is not often mentioned is if you have say 2 high Hz 5 kw inverters in parallel and never take them to the max output they will probably last a lot longer..and they are much more efficient in standby
😂. Don't worry, you will still return that HF hybrid inverter. Durability is number 1 factor.
Mister. I've installed over 50pcs of HF inverters Only 1pcs has ever got damaged at my site, and that was due to 2 lines short-circuit on nepa pole. I used to think like you too, until I sought proper knowledge of HF inverter inverters.
I have been using a 6KVA LF inverter since 2015 until date, and i have heard countless of HF inverter models burn all along, but mine is still kicking even for high inductive loads. i would always recommend a low frequency over a high frequency, if you want something that would work ruggedly. I agree about the low charging current, but a good mppt charger would handle the charging aspect.

Can you show me a single mini grid plant that it using LF inverter setup?
And yes we have high frequencies inverter that has been working till date. HF inverters durability depends on the product you're using and the installer installing it.

Good job ... I Will suggest that you should program both the inverter and charging on the same microcontroller. Interfacing egs002 with external controller and achieving perfect switching over from main to inverter may be tricky.

Please I built Egs002 inverter pure sine wave, but having an overvoltage problem. Led blinks 3 times, stops and come on again, recycling like that. Please can help me solve the problem, giving instructions to follow, I am just a biginner and your favor, please.

Good morning sir. Please I would like your help which will be precious to me. I made a sine wave inverter with EGS002 voltage 12 DC, 16 mosfet IRF3205 transformer that exceeds 20 amps. Here is my problem with no load the circuit consumes 1.8 amps as soon as I plug in a 75 W bulb the load current increases to 10 amps. Transistors don't heat up, output voltage is always stable etc... Please where is the fault? A 75w 8 amp bulb then imagine 4 or 5 bulbs or even more a television? Thanks in advance.
