I can no longer sell or buy and have been a buyer for approx 20 years. They have also withheld money I am owed from selling. I only started selling within the last month and had 3 positive feedbacks. Can't get in contact with them because they have blocked me from messaging them online. Don't know what I've done as didn't go against policy and had a good seller record.

So you're a scammer basically and you paid for it. Ebay is great to me. Never had an issue. Been on it since 2012 and to this day 2024 all good experience.

if you had just kept on phoning and got through to the right person you'd of been unbanned a lot sooner, however it may of been a good thing as you'd probably have sold elsewhere and gained experience selling on other platforms or from yourself. This is why it's a good idea to not rely on one platform alone. Good video.

How do they get the clothing measurements? Do you have to measure & send it to them. I know this is a dumbish question but the measurements are what I hate doing the most.

I have a Blue and Grey Knightfall Batman by Todd McFarlane I bought a cloth custom cape and it seems like the cape left blue marks on the back of the Babin figure which is gray . Would that help remove the blue streaks using the nail polish method will I ruin figure?

i did $2.3mil in sales in 13 yrs and 95% of the stuff i sold i bought on ebay, especially the larger i grew and more money my items would bring. id spend $40k-$100k on inventory just to sell again for 1.5x-100x what i paid. i had over 38k feedback received, over a 17k feedback score, and only 2 negs a couple neutrals in all of those yrs. you cant be on ebay for 30 yrs and not run across a couple buyers who are full of shiznit. i created that ebay account in 1998 and bought and sold here and there since day one but in 2006-2008 i started to make ebay my main form of income. i realized that after 7yrs as a scout in the army that i no longer could work under someone i felt was a waste of oxygen, lol...jk but seriously. i have a bachelors in business and a associates in criminal justice, i served 2 yrs in combat as a scout, and im suppossed to take orders from some kid who has never left his homes town, lol..nah, ill pass and make my money. Nick's Oddititques was born in 2007 and i began to take it seriously. my mom owns an antique shop and an estate sale company and my older brother is an auctioneer, so its not like its a stretch for me to sell collectables and antiques. i had an endless supply to things to flip but i soon began to specialize in antique and high end photography. a lot of which i sold contained nudity done in an artful way. i sold a lot of andre de dienes who also discovered marilyn monroe as well as countless other beauties. i did have some auctions taken down for violating policy on selling nude images but i was able to get 90% of them overturned because i was following the rules. i listed my auctions in the art nude category, which was created to sell nude photography. i didnt sell $5.00 photos but rather $100-$10,000 photos. not a nude photograher, but i sold an amsel adams proof photo for $25k on ebay. i had 3700 followers on ebay which is insane. anywho, one morning i woke up to list some auctions and i was able to list 2 and then suddenly it said i was not able to list and that my account has been closed down and im banned for life. ebay doesnt tell you why, they only say i was banned for not following ebays listing policies. after 2 weeks of emailing people i finally got a phone call and i spoke with a woman who explained that i didnt actually break any of the rules but i wasnt following the spirit of the rules...which very much confused me to say the least. its been 2.5 yrs now and its been rough getting by, but thankfully i am a 100% VA rated disabled veteran and i received disability compensation for my service... to go from$150k-$300k a yr to $35k a yr was a huge adjustment. i had to move from san diego to small town ohio, i havent bought a new car since 2015 and i planned on buying one in 2021-2022. my kid doesnt get the amenities that money can buy anymore, which is probably the hardest thing to accept, but we get by. ive been able to buy and sell on FB marketplace and a few other places but nothing compares to the traffic ebay provided for the things i sold. i currently do have an ebay account ive been using to buy with. its about a yr old and has 125 feedback score. i have been using my info and havent been hiding it mainly due to banking and financial reasons. i dont want what i sell to go on their taxes nor have to use their banking info to buy and sell stuff and i dont see how else to do it. i either use someone else's bank info or mine...so obviously im using mine. im hoping that once my account has enough positive interactions i wont be flagged and ill be able to sell soon, but im scared to even try cuz i have the feeling i will be banned and my account will be shut down. im collect things and i enjoy having the ability to buy hard to find items at a decent price available to me. im 85% sure that i will trigger flags as soon as i make my account into a sellers acount.

Thank you for your honest review. I was referred over to Hammoq by Sellhound. Sellhound sent an email saying they are winding down. Not sure if they will continue to operate. I am like you with wanting to list faster to save time in my business. I agree with you on the area of the unused credit balance falling off at the end of each month. It should rollover that is what a great business would do for all customers. I have noticed that this video did come out about 3 years ago, has your thoughts changed since then?

My Son opened a ebay account when he was 18 and for 2 yrs he didnt even open the app then inside of 2 months he sold $10k worth of used auto parts that were OEM from his personal vehicle after aftermarket upgrades and previous projects. Well ling story short ebay stepped in and said the want receipts for the items he sold and as im sure you know you dont get receipts for as proof if ownership for every part of your car when you buy it. Hes 20 n got upset n may have said somethings to ebay expressing to them that he felt what they were asking for may or may not be a "retarded" request....DONE! Hey man just finished up watching your video and understanding your story, I was just recently permanently suspended on eBay without an explanation and that to me is a wrongful suspension I’ve called eBay many times and was not given an actual reason why I got banned, all I ever got told was “it is against our policy to let you know what the reason is” and they hang up the phone right away. I’m pretty much at a low point right now since I don’t know what to do, eBay isn’t giving me answers. In my case what is an opinion or advice you can give me? I can’t no longer buy or sell on eBay for life.
