I had to hire my sump all custom made which was like 3x more than these cost. Looks like they did a decent job trying to cover all bases in a kit form and keep costs down. Oh NM these are far smaller than I thought, skimmer opening would not even fit a 400 gallon rated skimmer. Im sure they have to have larger sumps.
What if you don’t use Filter socks but are using a Rollermat?

I can't seem to get a good grip of wielding acrylic together. The edges always look nasty.
That’s because you haven’t seen modern welding technology, like manufactures are now able to weld plastic pieces together, something the car industry has done for years, or welding two different plastic pieces such as found in aircraft technology.

Wish you done more videos. Maybe cover the new roller matt sump and possible customizations. Then again I may just have to call and see what the limitations are for what I can brainstorm.

Is the refugium suitable for a Triton set-up?
Hulley29 no it is not. Triton methodology uses no mechanical filtration. No pre filter socks or even sponge blocks. The refugium in the Triton methodology takes all the incoming water from the aquarium and slowly processes the debris. Any unfiltered water then passes to the protein skimmer chamber.
I apologize if it was a dumb question, I've been out of the loop for about 10-12 years, honestly, your sumps alone make me want to get back into reefing! Do you plan on making a sump with the Triton method in mind? Seems like it would be fairly easy.
Yeah I'm in the market for a sump right now. But I want one that has an entire package, controller, sump, along with any and all stuff required.
