LAST ON, FIRST OFF. That's in reference to ground cable. Cleaning those terminals first would be a good idea.

if you disconnect the positive cable first any part of the car you touch with the cable, or your wrench while doing so will be live and suffer a major short and spark. Disconnecting the negative first removes the car from the circuit - after that you can safely remove the positive terminal. Reverse the order to return them.

Hey buddy always hook up the negative cable first then positive negative stand for ground you ground sky be connected it before depositive if you connect deposit first it could cost a shortage somewhere in the electrical system and if you always hook up the positive first you could have shortest something out to cause to train the battery and it looks like your battery connectors needs to be clean as well just please next time make sure you put the negative the ground cable first so you don't search it out your computer board and your vehicle I have a lot of people who have their vehicle told you my house so I can fix them and I asked him do you connect the positive cable first to tell me yes and it's always enough to blow out the CPU computer board and that's not cheap to replace.
