Great video! You'll love smelting. My advice is to start with low temperature metals and work your way up. Also, get yourself an INFRARED LASER THERMOMETER. As you mess around with the propane/air ratio, it will help you learn how to get the optimum mixture at the desired temp. Happy smelting!

If there is no guarantee of gold that is a red flag to me.

17g/t Au is considered high grade ore. Very few commercial gold mines in the world have an average grade greater than 10g/t. Most underground gold mines are in the 3 to 8g/t range and most open pit gold mines are less than 1g/t.

i have one and i raised the water level a bit more than the line and i didnt hear it no more.. the pump needs to be completely under. i run my speed on lowest setting and have no issues if the water level is above the level line..
