Growing up in Devon & Cornwall I've always loved being outdoors in nature, so this is my adventure delving further into this hobby. Here you will find hiking, camping, wild camping, wild swimming, quirky Airbnb stays and me trying my hardest to learn new outdoor skills like foraging & bushcraft. If this sounds up your street, follow for more!

Hello friends! We are back on another adventure today. This time it's a day hike with my dog Daisy. We start off in the lovely town of Totnes where we board a ferry that takes us down the River Dart to Dartmouth, we then then follow the route back on foot and take in the gorgeous views of the Devon countryside! Hello friends! Welcome to the first of many videos for my new channel! You may have come over from my main channel @DevonBumpkin but I'm so glad to have you here for this new adventure :) In this first video we hike 30 miles over Cornwall from Padstow to Fowey over 2 days. We see lots of gorgeous views, adorable animals, I get chased by cows, slip over in the mud, fail in my never ending quest ...
you walked in the church and i literally said out loud, “wtf an american flag doing there?!” lol i’m american and used to seeing our flag everywhere here but a random church in england??? huh
i love this it was so cozy and beautiful i wish i could visit devon
11:06 is that a dead bird??
Fantastic video I am hoping to do this one in a couple of weeks time , 🕰️ subscribe to your channel
Nature really is healing and getting out to appreciate it is so important.
The wanderings you go on are wonderful. Have a google for Weird Walk, I think you would be interested in some of their ideas for future wandering. x
TWISTER!😂 Every once in a while when my family and I drive somewhere and see cows we use the quote as well!😋
How wonderful im excited for for you Aden and Daisy's adventures 💜🐾
This was so relaxing to watch 👌🏼❤
We’d make a right pair of terrible tour guides ‘what did those pile of rocks/stones used to be?’ ….’well it was certainly something’ 😂 Thank you for the wonderful glimpse into Dartmoor, I could have sat and meditated in that stone circle for hours 😊 reminded me of the first time I visited stone henge (before all the fencing was put up)
What a soulful video. I loved your blogs and Im loving these videos too ❤ So relaxing and making me want to get out on a hike. Doris has to be the name for your tent
27:56 Anyone see the mouse in the bottom left corner 😂
I live in Bath! the cotswolds is beautiful, i’m definitely looking forward to that video ❤️❤️
That lovely old mill would make a fantastic build , lovely vid , great new channel , we are walking with you darling , wishing you awesome adventures <3 :D
Love your videos, Aden. You are such a delight to watch ❤ You absolutely have me in stitches sometimes 😂
Here for this content. Have always enjoyed your travel vlogs!
“A really lovely, chilled walking day. My legs are dead though” 😂😂😂
We are sooo lucky to live on the edge of 2 beautiful National Parks -I live a short drive from The Lake District..I now want to visit Dartmoor -what an amazing place..❤️
Oh Aden what a wonderful, warm and witty soul you are. Thank you for another lovely hike video. It’s feels so much like we’re all there with you. The glow worm telling us a spooky story was very funny. Xx
Tent name….Hortentsia
Lovely, thanks! When we were really really young on one of our yearly holidays to Cornwall, our mum and dad made us do the guided tour round Bodmin Jail, and even to this day the place gives me the creeps💀😳
51:06 From a distance, the line of stones leading to the circle almost look like a procession of pilgrims heading into a city.
I've never been to Dartmoor before but it looks so gorgeous!
This was so so lovely!! Thank you for sharing your adventures. I cant wait until the next one. 🫶
Clearly the tent should be Sheila. 🩷
It just clicked in my head that you're holding the camera for most of the video. Your dedication to your craft is insane, thanks for taking us along with you. Great job.
I'm only about 8 minutes in and it's already so beautiful. I'm sad I'll have to go to bed soon since it's nearly 11:30 PM in Nigeria but I'll continue tomorrow! I'm glad you decided to start this channel. It's great to see beautiful sites like this, even if on a phone screen
camera quality is so crispy 😍
You don’t know how much I love that you’re sharing your walking adventures. There is a lot of walking YT out there I’m sure, and I wouldn’t know where to start. And now I don’t have to, because watching your channel feels like sharing this passion with an old friend. I walked the Cotswolds Way in Summer 2012 and it was the wettest walk I’d ever done. But so beautiful! I cannot wait for you to do the West Highland Way. It’s a lovely walk and very doable even for the more inexperienced, which you are not! You certainly are ready! If I ever run into you on a trail I’ll say hi and try not to scare you 😊
I love these adventures! Thanks for bringing us along. Gloria could be a lovely name for a tent. "What a glorious view, Gloria!" Love from California ❤
i used to go dartmoor with my parents all the time as a kid, the little towns are so beautiful!
The view from the tent!! Absolutely stunning, reminds me of one of the locations in the last but one HP film where they're camping. I absolutely love these videos, the spooky story added so much <3 keep them coming Aiden!
Another stunning tour. So inspiring. This makes me want to get out there and share a little slice of my country with the world.
Aw i miss having box of Graze deliver to me, I'm sad that they don't ship outside the UK anymore :( Anyway, always was a pleasure to watch your adventure!
Dartie', the name of the tent. 😂❤
Wow the stone circles! Thank you so much for bringing us along with you ❤
Fantastic work Aden! Love the music and your sound is great! And the view is stunning in 4k!!! How lovely it would be to see drone shots but imagine if everyone was setting their drones all at the same time. Would totally ruin the ambience. Your tent is Dora ;)
So that is an English moor...it's made a nice contrast to your other showings. In fact there were a lot of variations in the moor itself, the craggy areas, the wooded parts, sweeps without a tree for miles, the lake, the boggy swamp, so many little brooks. The sky is so much more a factor in the open areas, and there were some lovely clouds that day. I love it when I can stand on a relatively high point and see the clouds sweeping by. I just seem to get a feel of the vastness of the earth and sky. I've seen pictures of the stone circles before. They are very intriguing. I never realized they have the row opf standing stones that look like they're guiding the way to them? Is that unique to just this one? It looked like they stretched along your path for quite a way. How helpful to use an ancient wayfaring method that is still here to this very day. The ruin seemed to have had actual walls, so I doubt it could've been a quarry for the stones. Princetown seemed to almost be a part of the moor. Hope your roast beef was delish. Please keep them coming, Aden!
Amazing video my friend! Absolutely stunning, and well done on completing your first solo wild camp! P.s. I think you should name the tent Theresa 😂
Oh that little foal on the second day! What a cutie!
Tent name suggestions: Pamela, Peggy, Beatrice and Ruth.
Tried to come up with a funny name for your tent and I didn't get any further than Antoitennte, cleary I need to work on my comedy skills.... Anyway, I could watch this channel all day. Thanks for taking us with you <3
The UK landscape is one of the main reasons why I want to move there.
Loved this video, made me want to head out onto the moors. Been a while since I've done a hike up there. Burrator is one of my favourites 🙂 I had a friend who lived in Princetown and we went out there on NYE one year. We went outside at midnight and you could hear the inmates at Dartmoor prison cheering and banging against the bars. It was super eerie!
That little foal!! I'd die for him
Lovely tour, You are so brave. Beautiful views and animal friends. All looks great. Thank you for the videos 😊 🫶🏻
Blaaaddy lush, love Dartmoor, and this was delightful darling!
This is the perfect background when I am doing something else. It's just so relaxing to hear Aden narrate the most mundane things. I might take up walking in my area soon because of this.
that was the best hiking vlog i ever seen. Maybe you didnt see my feedback but yet considered it hahaha i loved how much time you took to really let us take in the views and little creeks around and all in all it was amazing to watch. I am so glad you have a great time doing this. Your mood really transfers via the screen to me and i love that. Thank you so much! My favourite was actually the "lord of the rings" spot you showed us. I would have just stayed there all day long to be honest haha!
This made me want to move to Devon right this second!!
