Wearing just our underwear in sunny 0°C conditions for a day-trip experiment out in nature away from the city. We each spent about 30s in the water. OC1 Ama-Flying While Dodging Swans

The swans were in front, testing my concentration as I practice a bit of ama-flying while returning from the lake. Eventually we mutually paddled away from each other :) I didn't expect to have the day off work and was able to bring my sister along to SUP and enjoy being out on the water.

Viv's and Alex's first time. After a few minutes practice we got challenged by Lucky and then became emboldened to interrupt Audrey's 50km Chattajack training to race about 50m. A great way to spend a Sunday before it gets too cold!
DIY Spring Training Camp in North Carolina (2023)

The idea started out with just Audrey and I heading south for a week. Then more joined us for a week of paddling twice a day, yoga and stretching, trail runs, eating, disc golf, and many dolphin sightings (or were the dolphins watching us?). We spotted two surfskis paddle past our house and contacted @ThePaddleChannel to see if it was them. It was and we were able to meet up the next afternoon!

I made 5 snowballs as big as I could manage. Each one got smaller and smaller as I ran out of strength. I had shovelled the driveway for 2 hours in the morning followed by a shortened paddling erg workout. But I couldn't waste the rare opportunity of so much packing snow! :)

I know it's years after you posted this and/but interested in replicating what you have here. If you see this, how heavy are each of the weights you used as a foot plate? thx
Hmm...I can't quite make out the numbers but it was as long as they don't slide forward. I'm pulling air as I'm familiarizing with the movement so no real leg drive forward.
@@andylikewater thanks, I ended up finding a pair of 45 pound dumbells and have been using those with a little, low stool, vs springing for a pricey bosu ball and as you stated, it's all air now anyway, not a lot of force. thx for the response:)

Nice persistence. How'd you get the horizon to remain stable in the video while your board was tilting? Any particular software used?
Thanks! The GoPro Hero 9 I use has "horizon levelling" and "HyperSmooth" features. I didn't use horizon levelling here but hypersmooth was set to "high".

I think you can order them from Louis Low or other Outrigger Zone distributors but maybe not any pre-made ones you can get right away.
