Just need to remove any blow off valve or recirculation valve, intake piping isnt even necessary but a front mount intercooler will give you more intake air volume creating more flutter. The flutter is pressurised air in the intake pipes rushing back though the turbo when the throttle is closed. If you have a blow off valve or recirc valve it wont be possible as the pressurised air will leave via those valves rather than back through the turbo. Hope that helps! 😁

In terms of engine mods its mostly stock sr20det on stock turbo, with the boost turned up just slightly, front mount intercooler, R8 coil upgrade, 3" turbo back exhaust with no catalytic converter

@@casualfailure8223 Sounds great man, Im turboing my KA soon. By not installing a BOV you run the risk of blowing up the turbo right? I guess its fine if its a cheap turbo lol

@@archzay5073 you'll find people at both ends of the scale mate, i've never run a bov and never grenaded a turbo but in theory yes its bad for the turbo over a long time period, if youre not making 30psi and 600hp i really dont think it will do any harm at all.. Also consider that even bov's have a pressure threshold so if it only spools to like 2psi it wont even open when you let off and it will flutter anyway.. I reckon under 500hp its owners choice, above 500 it's tuners choice, but i'm just another guy on the intetnet so i could still be wrong! 😂

Casual Failure haha cheers buddy, I’m only 5’9”, but the car isn’t exactly massive on the inside and removing the rear seat meant I could have the front seats in a bit more of a comfier position

Casual Failure yes mate, and it has a fairly decent sized turbo on there so the power hits pretty hard!

S14 sr20det run a roller bearing turbo, not as good as the ball bearing ones on the s15 but still good enough for 300hp and some epic noises 😁
