Cutting reinforced waterproofing bandage to seal around taps, mixers and other wall penetrations
มุมมอง 66916 วันที่ผ่านมา
Taking the time to cut your waterproofing bandage, the seal taps and mixers give you a professional finish and is a must to keep the water out of your walls. Obviously, the waterproofing liquid membrane is applied to the wall before and after the bandage is set into place. It is highly recommended that a silicone or polyurethane sealant is used to also seal any gaps between the board and fittin...

มุมมอง 6711 หลายเดือนก่อน
I'm trying Kera-screed for the first time. Easy to mix, float, and finish. Aggregate size is not as fine as some brands but not too coarse either. This means this product rubs up nicely and tight enough to give a nice even substrate for waterproofing. Would definitely recommend it, but check with your local stockist or the Kerakol website to see if this product means your particular job require...

Using Sika's ECO Screed for this shower base. The corse sand makes it workable even when mixed wet.

Using Sika products Eco Screed. Eco Screed is a dry, pre-mixed sand and cement based product, excellent for floor and showerbase forming applications. The sand used is a rather corse grade, which makes it ideal for when a thicker bed is specified. Also, the coaser sand makes it more forgiving when mixed wetter. A satisfactory finished can be achieved using a float and steel finishing trowel but...

Thank you now I know what not to do
yeah some people don't like the big contrast in grout colour and prefer a more subtle approach with a matching white or grey.
I mean is it a problem tho??
Just leftover bits from a different bathroom/kitchen. It’ll work with the wire mesh. Will it be better than just plywood? A lot better, is it better than full/large sheets. Not really. You win some you lose some. At least there’s less waste.
can i play music from usb stick?

And yes for everyone that has picked the mark on the tile. It couldn't been seen until I cleaned off the tile and this tile wasn't used. But the theory remains the same.
" A neat hole looks professional"- Guy who just left marks all over the hole and tile.
yeah I actually didn't use this tile in the end due to the mark on the tile.
