I love that nightclub in Harrisburg, PA near Marysville called Club XL with many great bands that often play there and can't wait to see the Badlees on Thanksgiving Saturday in 2 months at Club XL. The Midtown Arts center is a great place as well to see live music with that great metal band from the Ukraine, Jinjer, at that place just a few days ago. Many other decent music venues in the area as well and central PA has produced many great local bands over the the decades as well for them to get started before they moved elsewhere like Poison, Live, August Burns Red, past Grammy winner Halestorm, The Badlees, and most recently, Oliver Craven, originally from Ephrata playing in a local band in the 2010s called the Stray Birds, now a Nashville, Tennessee, resident playing the guitar and fiddle with Sierra Ferrell, with that band now winning best artist and best album of the year at the Americana music awards last week, and is expected to be a Grammy nominated act in November. Go Sierra Ferrell with one time local, Oliver Craven in her band with them recently on Jimmy Kimmel live and Stephen Cobert late show as well. Not a bad place for musicians to get a start in the central PA area with the history of venues and musicians from our past in central PA.

You probably don't want to live in the city of Harrisburg, it is a high crime area and since the city is small, lots of petty crime filters out to ever what were the better neighborhoods in the city and nearby suburbs. The city school district ranks with Philadelphia and Pittsburgh as being among the worst in the state. No only are they academically. terrible but your children would be in physical danger by attending these scrools. Combine that with the fact that the district spends significantly more per student than neighboring districts that actually run some pretty decent schools. The city's infrastructure is old and is not being maintained well and if key elements failed it would be hard to replace since the city lost its credit rating due to bankruptcy. Interesting that the city school district has the same history. Little is left of the downtown retail business district, forced out by crime and the lack of affordable parking. On the good side, the surrounding suburban communities are mostly good places to live, have good schools, low crime, and nice housing. Amtrak operates commuter service into Philadelphia and one train daily to Pittsburgh. Harrisburg (area) airport, located outside the city, hosts over 100 flights daily with good connections to Chicago, Atlanta, Philly, and NYC.

Every place has good and bad location's, west York City very congested ,many people live in public housing, run by people who don't care ,they make money off of people's very low income, if they would take care of the homes and people that live in them, it would be a better place, vicious cycle money maker, not sure how it's allowed, rent from multiple people in one house, they live poorly..get rid of bad ,slumlord landlords, that would help.

Nice video, but it is worth mentioning some big issues: 1. limited healthcare. Unless you're going to Hershey, the healthcare in the area is abysmal...even for vet services of your pet 2. shortage of contractors. Good luck finding competitive contractors to do any sort of work on your property. A $6,000 guest bathroom renovation in florida is the equivalent of a $12,000 renovation in the harrisburg metro, at 2-3x the lead time. 3. Political pressure. Unless you're living in the city, the area is very conservative and certain ethnicities may feel uncomfortable

How can you have multiple neighborhoods it’s a single town you either live in camp hill or camp hill I get it’s bigger on maps but really it’s just one small town anything outside of where you were originally isn’t really camphill that’s a whole other town

Thank you for your comment. Our goal in this video was to show neighborhoods in the greater Camp Hill area and the different townships in 17011, not just the Boro. Thank you for watching!

Hi! I've been watching the market out there while trying to decide which neighborhood to buy into. Can you tell me if Green Lane Farms has access to natural gas? All the properties I've seen are either oil or electric heat.

Thanks for watching. I do not believe Green Lane Farms has natural gas available. I went back on sales over the past year, and I see either heat pump with electric backup or oil. I can confirm with the gas providers tomorrow, though. Please feel free to reach out to us with any questions or help. Thank you!

Hello, I am also curious about Porches At Allenberry ( I had previously commented, but it does not appear to be showing). I'll pare this comment down to basics.... P.O.A. seems an absolutely gorgeous community built into a charming existing resort with all kinds of amenities, playhouse, restaurants, historical structures, etc. (world class fly fishing to boot). There are three elements if you might comment on, however. * A.* Build quality of units seems low in comparison to asking prices, facades of homes look great, but they are slab constructed homes from what I see (correct me if I'm wrong). *B.* Homes don't seem to have much property, very close to neighboring homes. *C*. Price Point: There seems to be a good inventory of homes within a 2 to 5 mile radius priced anywhere from the mid to high 100's to around 300K, which would mean you could purchase 2 to 4 homes that would equate to the same price as the range of 500K to slightly over a million at P.O.A. for one home. Any input would be appreciated as there are apparently no reviews besides the additional comment on this video I can find online.

Hi Guys, first off thanks for the extensive and informative video. I too am baffled by the Porches At Allenberry. A charming setup with many amenities for sure, but good lord the asking prices...🤔 From what I see, unless I am mistaken construction is frame on concrete slab (correct?), which if the case would be as basic as it gets IMO. It seems they put alot of attention to the exterior and facade, but how good are the "bones" and build quality of the houses in general? Hardly any property, shoulder to shoulder with neighbors. Literally across the street (Boiling Springs Road) if you search Zillow "sold" homes, you will find two nice homes on nice sized property recently closed within a year or so for 260,000 and 275,000 respectively, and one closed less than two years ago for 252,000 where you can see the Porches directly across the street out of the living room window. Now I know the market has gone up and P.O.A. is new construction (as apparently base as that may be), but seriously, you could have bought ALL THREE of these homes for 757,000. P.O.A. is priced as you say from the mid 500's to over a million. If you could comment on this that would be appreciated. Thank You
