Easter 2024 we ventured 4 hours north of Cairns to get away from the rain and came across this top spot on Hipcamp called Scrubby Creek campsite. A lot of flood damage from recent Cyclone has not stopped the owner from making this a great little campground. ⛺️

Ventured to Wondecla just past Herberton to check out Wild River Mountain Distillery a great local business doing the area proud with their award winning selections of Rum, Whisky, Gin and Liqueur’s! Well worth a look in, their coffee liqueur is the bomb!

How good is Birds on Baron! So close but when your there you feel so far! Great clip looks like it was fun for all! Those kids look like they have that damper recipe sorted! 🤘
Yeah mate is a cracker of a spot. Heard they shut down for a bit after people were leaving rubbish etc.... not sure if they have reopened. Damper came up a treat!
