This video is great tbh, but I just wanted to add one thing right to the exit line [yeah ik nobody asked :( ]: Know the course well. Know what corner comes next after you exit another one. After this, make up your own race line in your head. To give an example, There could be an S corner that leads to a straight in the exit. Ideally, you'd want to take the racing line by entering from the outside to the corner, but you'll take the second half of the corner from the inside, thus entering the straight in a lower speed. You can however, take the first corner from the inside then taking the second half using the race line by knowing what'll come after the corner. In the end of the day, you might shave off a couple of seconds of your lap. Hope this helps

Personally, I drive an AE86 simply because its fun (also bcuz i may have a bias) I don't really race, I just try and farm yen and xp points on Ichikawa, but these tips are still good for a kid like me! I play Gran Turismo, too, so I know a bit already, but again, these tips are very helpful
