I very much appreciate that a lot of effort has been spent preparing this video, with lots of relevant explanations and details. However, its suitability for those who are supposed to take the test is virtually nil... sorry! The vast majority of such people are at ELEMENTARY LEVEL in English. Your video content is for 'intellectuals' ! For any future videos, just keep it simple and to the point. (Put yourself in their shoes, if you can)
Many thanks for taking time to learn from the video. Thank you for your feedback likewise. The videos are made based on the sample questions from the test. Anyone taking the life in the UK test should prepare for these types of questions because they are selected randomly during the D-Day (test days). We wish we can make it simpler, but unfortunately, we don't make/ set the rules. We are only helping to make it simpler in a video version. We wish everyone all the best in their tests and we only hope everyone that watches our videos gain some knowledge that will help towards passing the tests.
"What was the population of the UK in 1901?" is one of the most bizarre questions in this supposedly Life in the UK Practice Test. Presumably, not knowing the answer to it makes one dumb, or someone who does not deserve to pass the test? As a teacher with 40 years' teaching experience, I seriously doubt the wisdom, even sanity of the people who design these tests. Don't worry though, you're not the only one. :(
The ANSWER about the TV Licence at 10:22 is wrong! (I don't know how they get away with it :( )
