The top trim came stock with a k20 4 cylinder 200 hp. Add boost and they can make up to 1500hp its insane. This is a 4 banger belive it or not

@@kingsdrumming is this a si or a ex cause I have an 8th gen x and plan on making up to 1000hp I was prob just gonna copy most of this build if it’s an ex cant tell tho because of the body kit

@@WeightedBals it's an si. Your best bet is to swap out your assuming 1.8 liter for a k24. It would fit in your car and snag a 6 speed out of an si. A lot cheaper and plenty fun. Really depends on what you're going for race car dd or what

I bought a water pump off Summit, pretty sure it’s a truck water pump. I recommend getting an LS2 water pump since they’re more slim. Alternator bracket is from a C5 corvette

I can spin it once it’s on but it is pretty tight. It’s a 4 inch elbow. I ended up rerouting my vacuum lines to a catch can

Sell it get a eg hatch. If you planning just to be fast on straights. 8th gen slow. 1000 hp fully gutted and only 9s? Older hondas at 1000hp are in low 8s 7s. fwd too.

@@effingwrecked1917 Some fg2 and Fa5 does 8s, building a car is pretty limitless. This platform is pretty new in term of modification.

@@KevyHerr sorry I missed that. What did you end up using for the air cleaner connections. I have 4" aluminum tube. Isn't the TB bigger on the OD than 4"? My FAST is arriving tomorrow.

@@dickmick5517 No worries! I used a 90° 4 inch summit coupler. It’s hard to get onto the TB but with it being flexible silicone, I managed to slip it on. Other side of the tubing I used 4 to 3.5 inch coupler to go to my MAF

But its sooo slow for 1000hp. Lol not even close to fast older hondas. Fwd eg and ek are in 7s

@@effingwrecked1917 There’s a ton more that goes into those eg/ek then just 1000hp. Things that aren’t available for this chassis. Not saying that if there was this car would be 7s or not trying to take away from what the eg/ek do but this car has potential to go much faster

@@nismop.972 Ik that but if your gonna dump all that money in a 8th gen just for drags fwd you can build a awd eg or ek and it be more of a blast. 8th gen civic are cool dont get me wrong. But not ideal for drag. I will build 8th gen for time attack fwd instead this implies to Rsx owners as well. But its their cars their money idc tbh.

@@nismop.972 I havent seen a 8th gen fwd at 1000hp running 7s even if they run carbon 3 piece front end full drag mode and customized suspensions on slicks fully gutted. Eg hatches full street car full weight fwd running 8s easy too. If anything else ppl try to make the 8th gen civic and rsx look like its the best fast classics because all the new civic type r coming out. But they forget eg,ek, dc2 are the real kings.

@@effingwrecked1917 Eg/ek will always be the kings. They set this whole platform up into play. I just personally like seeing other chassis go fast lol

No matter what in order to succeed there must be failure. 10 fails, 1000 fails it doesn’t matter. If something means that much to you and you’re chasing your goal, never give up. You’re never going to get something on the first try especially when you’re in the process of learning. Keep your head up man
