What if the PDF is a vector CAD drawing with small text. Unfortunetly there seems to be no fix for this in Acrobat. When it conversts the drawing to a bitmap to then do the OCR the dpi (600dpi) is too low and it can not read most of the text. Maybe there is a way to override the dpi used in the Acrobat Recognize Text OCR function.

is it possible to export a text file from a recognised pdf?

After doing that are the files saved automatically with this ocr option

Hi, great video. I was able to create a rollover on a PDF document w/o problems on my Mac (Adobe Acrobat DC). Where are the image source stored? In the PDF itself which explains increase size after all and done or the images stays on the folder created in the computer. When opening on my iPad Pro, rollover does not appear although the area is highlighted; however, when I press on a hyperlink that I also created in another section of the document, the web page opens fine. So for some reason, the rollover function does not work on iOS but the hyperlink does, why? Reason for the inquiry is that I am planning to share this document with staff.

Thank you for this great video. I have a question that I don't seem to be able to find an answer to online and thought that you might know because you are obviously someone who has used this function! I have a rather large bidding document for a ship repair that I am creating. At the end of the document, I need to add several documents related to the repair of particular items on the vessel in an appendix. Some of these documents are over 200 pages, so adding them as an attachment is what I would like to do. However, some of the companies who will be bidding on this project will not have Adobe Acrobat Pro, and the document will open in Adobe Reader. Are the attachments still viewable and accessible in Reader? I attempted to download Reader to test it, but the software keeps recognizing that I have Acrobat Pro and opening that instead! :) Thank you in advance for your time.
