Enkanyisweni Church of Christ in Zion (CCZ), founded in 1981 by Professor PDP Sithathu, is a spiritual haven rooted in faith and resilience. Beginning humbly in Mtubatuba, the church has grown into a thriving community under visionary leadership. Its vibrant music ministry gained recognition in 2008 when the group Umkhalanga won the Best of Umkhalanga award, followed by their debut album.

After Professor Sithathu’s passing in 2014, CCZ continued to flourish under Presiding Archbishop Mkhwanazi, becoming a registered organization in 2016 to expand its impact. A hallmark of CCZ’s faith is its annual pilgrimage for prayer and fasting, a tradition that unites members in spiritual renewal.

In recent years, CCZ embraced digital platforms to share its message and music with the world. With multiple branches, the church remains dedicated to spreading love, hope, and guidance, empowering people to trust in God.
