I have like 70+ h on pso2ngs as a new player and I don't like it that much like the gear system is shit the rewards are shit the enemy's are shit

we can't have good mmo's now day's at all in general they lost the 3 aspect's that made mmo's so good like gameplay world and socializing aspect's

Just gonna be real here; the sunk cost fallacy has even a lot of veterans (myself included, nearly 3700 hrs in ngs alone, not including base) tied up in it. Keep hoping the money we invested - whether 10 dollars for 10k dollars - won't be wasted. Keep hoping the game will improve. Not blind to it. Can't defend this *at all* how they treat us, refuse to anyway. But it's a fool who wants to see a thing they like die, so a lot of us give them more chances, more time. But the reality is, the game *can* turn around; the game *likely* will continue down the path of, as so eloquently put here, "the slow roasted rotisserie chicken." Plus, as the best "softcore", "we aren't a hentai!"-hentai sim on the market, there's other "addictions" that can't be discarded so easily...

I started playing 2 months ago and I got all the descendants and most of the weapons and half of them are maxed out. You only need 1 or 2 character maxed out to be able to complete all the hard content. And yes there is a big grind if you want everything in the game and that is supposed to be so you can play the game otherwise if you complete everything in a week then you will stop playing the game. This is an online game and not a single player game that you complete in a few days and you're done with it.

When it's THAT many people having a hard time, maybe there is a bigger underlying issue. The game does not prepare players for the HP/DEF/dps checks at all (requirements to queue, what?) and has absolutely zero identical or at least similar mechanics in other missions to teach them preemptively. (2 lines of cryptic text while running for your life from ice missiles isn't a "fix"). Same thing happened with Hanged Man, same thing will happen when they reach Molten, or whatever is added next that makes no sense. You can't pull a new mechanic out of your *** and expect people to grasp it in the middle of a difficult boss fight. The game shouldn't rely on YT guides to teach players how to play the game and understand the illogical tasks at hand. Also the flames insta-attach to you, it's not a thing you proactively pick up, so grabbing a torch accidentally dodging stuff also happens often. Don't hate the player(s), hate the game. I mean, you're free to hate whatever, but they hold only 50% of the blame.

I started playing 4 days ago I already have two characters at level 40, now getting a blueprint for gear is B's, the drop loot is low AF, I don't see me playing this for two months I'll do all the missions and watch the cut scene after I am done with the story am out of there

The issue is that if they add a Black character, it's not because they just want to add a hot Black female character with extra cake (which would be great-I’d support adding Nicki Minaj to the game), but it would be to get involved in American cultural wars or something stupid to generate articles for the few gaming journalists that still have jobs, LOL. Then people start arguing about representation, and this game isn't about that. It's a shooter with fan service; it's simple. That already violates all sorts of politically correct morals, lol. And people tend to ask for representation out of some moral obligation. They would probably already demonize the game for being sexual and catering to the male gaze, lol. So for me, it's like if you're asking for representation for moral reasons in a game you consider immoral, it's like a hardcore Christian asking for Jesus to be added to a video game that stars demons, hookers, and pimps xD. It's fundamentally incompatible. You can't have a dull, sexless, politically correct American game (for example, there are plenty of games like that-Concord is right over there; they can play that garbage) and mix it with a sexy fan service Korean shooter. It's like oil and water, lol. It doesn't work. Its just easier to do it solo. Was carried up to Normal mode Pyromancer and knew it couldnt last long. Had to learn that solo was the move, and to mod your weapon properly.

In The First Descendent your either carrying or being carried. Theres no middle ground. At this point im currently being carried and its no something im proud about. Gotta put in that grind time to get all the materials I need to make my set up stronger.

One thing I have noticed from years of watching Kdramas and Cdramas is that the cast are either Asian or Caucasian most of the time very rarely do you see black/african origin characters in the shows. And even some of the Asian stars look more caucasian than you would expect. Examples Dilraba Dilmurat, Gülnezer Bextiyar, Madina Memet to name a few actresses I have seen recently. So to me when I see the characters in TFD and BDO I know that it the games are made by Korean Game Studios so I just naturally assume Asian origins on most characters unless it is something that tells you different like the Valkyrie, Guardian, Hashashin or Shai characters on BDO. Viessa and Freyna are Russian and Scandanavian names but many Korean characters in the shows I watch take on/go by and English name for Business situations so just having a name that fits a non-asian character doesn't mean anything to me. Unless they come out and say so and so is of a specific origin I will just assume they are based off a Korean origin. Just like I just naturally assume that the majority of the characters in the Witcher games are of Polish origin as that is where the stories in the books ar from.

I’m late asl but ima drop my 2 cents of randomness 😂 Ight boom peep this before ffxiv I was playing dcuo and pso2 and even now bdo. The best one combat wise out of those 3 is bdo by far. Now in between pso2 and bdo is when I found ffxiv, and man the combat was so slow to me I just spammed the fastest button till these niggas started asking me “wtf are you doing” so I kinda had to get with the program and learn a rotation but, somewhere down the line it all just clicked and I don’t mind it, if I had to say why maybe it’s because the story content and the amount of things to do in the game just made me accept it idk, like in bdo the combat is great but all I do is go in circles all day and when I want to do a dungeon I need exactly 5 people and can’t find 4 players to do it with is crazy. It’s crazy I was playing ffxiv daily thinking damn I’m really invested in the combat and this video just reminded me I was always hoping for them to change the combat and tbh at this point I’ll take a basic attack button or something 😂 also can y’all stop being so nice it’s weird asl I hate loading In to things and feel forced to say hi 👋😃every time, I don’t like to leave people hanging but jus know y’all still my niggas tho 🫵🏾
