New sub here. I was a cop for around three years back in the late 70's and early 80's and was having alot of fun doing a few decent busts, but other opportunities appeared. I'm probably around Ralph's age--my department got its first Kevlar vests. I remember they came from a company call "Second Chance." Fortunately I never had to put it to the tests. Anyway, thanks for a great show.. I'll be back!👮‍♂

Thanks for posting this, been a firefighter for 12 years last three months I fell into a depression and have been trying to hide it but it gets harder and harder. Going to start Keto and see what that can do for me, I do exercise daily and it helps some but it doesn’t fully make the void in my chest go away.

I stumbled on that book one day and had to buy it (a couple of years ago). One of the best reads i ever had. My hat is off to Ralph, the man was highly disciplined and did a lot of good things for people. Pick up the book if you haven't already, the mother in law mentioned a podcast so i searched and here i am. Wow what a interview.... Additionally, she knew about the podcast, but not the book. She has my copy now :D
