It was. Ik racing there is much different than Saratoga I learned strategy over speed and I did good! I was 16 telling drivers about horses I sat behind and they did listen till genuine heart went down on the 3/4 mark I told drivers he gets wierd and wobbly around the 3/4ths so don’t ask till stretch well devou didn’t listen and it was slop he went rite down! Ik it was going to happen I said don’t and he asked! I drove him many times at fairs and set a track record! But very lazy but u could not ask at 3/4ths that was it but u needed wip on his ass just to urge not hit unless he was on top. I gunned him out the gate at fairs but hard when u have a lil horse that’s on p killas. To beat out the gate always caught em on half . Stay blessed man. Have fun if you race solute

Redcliffe is a tight track and any tricky draw is a disadvantage. Won't get any easier for Leap to Fame as Swayzee is looking super.

Yeah what a great horse. My favourite Self Assured race was in defeat when he ran 2nd to Lochinvar Art in the 2020 Alabar 4YO Bonanza. Such a powerful striding horse and it looks like he will be well cared for in retirement.

Well done mate. Great to see Greg Sugars and Jess Tubbs pull off the double. My TH-cam Channel had restrictions placed on it a few months ago for no apparent reason hence the low views etc. and I just lost interest but I will continue to post content. I'll start again with Leap to Fame at Redcliff soon and would love to post some of the past greats but it's tricky with new copyright laws. Cheers mate.

Fair point. There have been some incredibly fast times run at this track over the years. 1:49:1 in 1980 for a 3 year old is incredible.
